That's an extremely rare Viper among Vipers. It's either a 1992 or an early 1993 Viper. That particular Viper has a radio antena and the battery is also located in the center of the frame rails unlike any other viper. That car would fetch big money among Viper collectors. Very cool!
Nice catch. Only about 600 antenna vipers exist(all of the 1992s and the first ~300 93s). They moved the antenna to the windshield shortly into the 93 model year.
@@420CEO People must be blind if they don't recognize the differences between RT/10 (since 1992) and SRT-10 (2004, I guess). They changed so much things, that made RT/10 such an iconic car. Mostly the hood is straight now (from a side view), the head lights have a different shape, the front grille, the exhaust pipes are different, it got an in-built soft roof, doesn't have that rear window thing anymore and so on. There's no way people could ever mistake these two for each other.
I’d love to someday atleast experience the sound of that thing. The viper is a gorgeous car, it sounds incredible, is fast, and it lives up to America’s glorious car industry. A definite dream car for me.
I'm surprised that with over 25,000 comments nobody has mentioned the funky fuel pump! Cranks for years a the start, hopefully that was taken care of! Beautiful car, I'm in the process of buying a '94 myself (this is a 93 from what I can tell) with that same roof and those same windows included, just with the latest Viper (Gen5) 5-spoke wheels which REALLY bring the car into the 21st!
Yep Same here... it’s the entire fuel pump module with pickup. The part alone is 1900, plus a lot of labor. Mine ran for years just priming it a few times
When I compare the first generation of Viper (The most beautiful), especially GTS version, with some other moder supercars, like V10 Gallardo, wich is younger (I Know, that its older and is a Hurracane), but its still not nearly 30 years old concept, it looks like some old, big, boring box. Yes, definitely, the first Lambo V10 was in Viper O:). ..But this still looks like a supercar from the future, like cars from Demolition man 2032 :D... Love it, since I was a child and saw Nutty professor movie in our cinema in year 1996 O:)
The only reason I remember The Nutty Professor is BECAUSE of the Viper! I remember thinking, "This might just have to be my new favorite movie!!" hahah
GTS was a nice one, but I still love this RT/10 roadster more. Such a disappointment was for me the new SRT-10, design-wise. It's still a nice modern car, but it doesn't have the appeal of the RT/10.
I absolutely love the Dodge Viper RT/10, but honestly, I wouldn't ever dare to call it a supercar. It's in no league with those such as Lamborghini, Bugatti and stuff. I love the car's look, it's amazing, the top of car design (for me at least), but seriously, it isn't a supercar by no definition ever. I'm a girl (well a grown woman) and have a model of this amazing thing even to this day. XD Such is my love for this magnificent car. And I love the NBC Viper show, where this car morphed into a Defender armored vehicle.
You're tripping, v10 sound automatically makes you a supercar. And the way this thing is so gnarly makes it a real supercar. not an electric assisted girly supercar of today but a real man's super car!
Your wrong. Hand built, hand painted, state of the art materials used, limited production, more corvettes were made in one year then viper from 1992-2017, also viper holds more international track racing wins then any car in history. Porsche, Ferrari, meclaron, Lambo, and ford gt cannot say that. If you say Ford gt is Americas supercar...just consider that they made just a few handfuls of them and they cost millions of dollars and still do not have the same pedigree as viper.
