It's not auto tune. It's a vocoder. They hit all their notes naturally.

Im a top fan of them, i even ready to get a tattoo with their logo. But i really think just because we love them so we must respect someone doesn't enjoy it. I love them since 2010, even now i still heard their song everyday so many time, and i share them to my friends. Thats why i can get it others doesn't like them.

It's their genre,and it's not ruined their carrier at all👍

respect your opinion for sure, you have completely different tastes compared to this band. but i wish you couldve portrayed your thoughts more respectfully. no need to call this "not music" or make fun of the appearance of the members. 👍 edit: also, just a note: you said you dont like the excess electronic sounds, but technically even just outright run-of-the-mill metal or rock guitar is heavily electronically augmented (effects such as distortion are not natural) "natural" would be an acoustic guitar, but then again, you did explicitly mention that you wouldve preferred folk music like an acoustic guitar and bagpipes 😂 first time viewer of the channel btw so i dont know what your favorite types of music are second edit: unlike tpain, falilv is still alive and well! they just recently dropped their newest album, "Cocoon for the Golden Future" and hit #1 on japan's charts! they also didnt massively change their sound since 7 years ago, falilv still sounds like they did a decade ago!

It is really hurt me to hear a 40yo guy say "shit" and "fucking" angrily over young-market music. You remind me of my father. I've never watch any angry reaction over some song, this is really open my eyes, turns out it really hurt to watch..

A Vocoder is a variable robotic effect that you blend or proccess with an audio signal, Guitar voice etc. Autotune is a pitch correction program, used as intended, you won't hear the Autotune effect.

I... actually kind of like this. But then I've also gotten into hyperpop lately, which takes the autotune even further than this goes, and I can acknowledge it's not a sound that everyone is going to like.

You need to hear "tear down" by them, it's a lot more metal core and a newer release. Highly recommend

I'm 41, and I like the band for the same reason I find bands like Band Maid and Lovebites boring: originality. These guys pushed the envelope musically in a way that I hadn't heard at the time. That said, because this is basically all they do, they did eventually bore me. So, I can agree they're a one-hit-wonder, and they're overproduced sound didn't help. In fact, all of that is why my favorite band is Sokoninaru. They aren't overproduced, they're the most original band I've ever heard, and they never do the same thing twice. In terms of originality, they're like MtH, but with melodic rather than harsh vocals and a more "Polyphia on meth" feel to their sound. They do a great cover of MtH's "Alien" as well.

It’s not autotune, it’s a vocodex/vocoder. It’s a completely different thing. All those changes in the pitches are done by himself.

It's like this. I do like their more recent stuff. As someone said the eardrum piercing autotuning sorta did me in. But...there's this band Imperial Triumphant l love. And other people love, I mean they're signed and people say so in their comments. I don't know I've ever chatted with anyone that agrees with me. (look it up odds are you'll cringe, at least) So we all have our um peculiarities. Thanks for the honest reaction 🤷‍♂️(also my pick for December wasn't exactly loved by all)🤷‍♂️

only because u dont like the music, there is no need to shttalk the Band and their music. U also seem pretty angry, but why? because there are genres and music tastes u dont agree with? This is definitely a band for someone who has a room full of anime figures. Its not going to be for most of this audience but I can see how its big for those who love anime it has that sound and energy.

It was the auto tune that just went too far for me. It was a lot of electronic influence, but I could almost look past most of it if not for that auto tune.
