I said the same thing when my brother showed me this song today. Man, he went from every indie country/Zach Bryan sound alike to having the spirit of Chris Cornell take him over in 0.1 second. I instantly became a fan and hope he expands on his range more. He’s obviously hiding quite a bit. Goosebumps.
