This is one of the most braindead takes ever, the ref stepped in to give an 8 count when Fury used the ropes to stay up and Usyk wasn't even attacking.
@@kevinOneil6742if the referee wanted to save Fyry he would stopped and count earlier Usyk,the first time that Tyson fell to the ropes… Instead he let Usyk punching.. If the fighter is hurt and ropes holds him it’s KD so referee have to stop the fight for the safety of the fighter.. @@tarasb2946 the rules are that if the ropes are the only thing that prevents a boxer from hitting the canvas, the ref can (and should, for safety reasons) treat it as a knockdown and administer a count. It's quite clear that the only reason Fury didn't hit the deck was because the ropes caught him, so the ref was right to administer a count.

That ref allowed Fury to hit Usyk with illegal shots; then he tried stepping in before the last sequence when Fury was against the ropes but Usyk pushed him away. Then he give the slowest count I've ever heard. The Fury Protection Program was on full swing, some judges included.

Im a new fighting fan and Im glad that this was the first complete boxing match that I saw (I dont count the Mike Tyson fights, these were executions, not fights). Well deserved Usyk, glad that the humble man won!

Fury dodging punches utilizing the Philly shell is proof that it wasn't a stoppable fight. Don't forget the fighters are taller and any attempts to regain balance are extremely exaggerated to the average small man eye.
