It's a bit complicated. Oversimplifying it here, but as a national lab, we come up with the discoveries. The next step is to find an industry partner to take that discovery and bring it to market. More info for you here - www.anl.gov/article/argonne-seeks-partners-to-commercialize-oleo-sponge-technology
Good Morning! At this time, the Oleo Sponge is still in the development stage and is not yet available as a commercial product. We are not able to distribute samples because, as a research material, the Oleo Sponge has not been approved for consumer safety. We are in the process of identifying a manufacturing partner to transition the technology into the market, at which point such approvals would be in place. Stay tuned!
Roland Izulu disappointed. I've seen so many cleanup methods that haven't been used. Have you seen the iron oxide magnetic oil method or the powder that turns oil spills into a solid rubber mat that can be rolled up?
Charles Torres Hi. No i haven't. Interested in such solutions because of massive spills over decades in Niger Delta. Do you have links of the two solutions?
