Yes I will attempt to provide more beam shots including the rabbit in the future. I just have to negotiate his rates. Probably a couple carrots will do but who knows with inflation 🥕. I might end up with a raccoon or possibly a skunk in the next video, or whichever is cheaper. we'll see 🦨
I love my Arkfeld pro and would have bought one of these if it was an upgrade on the Lumen count (maybe 2000 would have been nice) but I feel like its too low lumen count for me personally.
I bought the arkfeld pro about a month ago and loved it! I got my arkfeld flex in the mail last night and love it more. It’s a smaller package with a swivel head. I have found my new EDC.
I just purchased the pro. I haven't even received it from the mail yet, and I'm already wished I got the flex. I didn't even know it existed, but how do they sit in the pocket? I know they're a little bit different.
There are a lot of complaints about that website. Are they reputable? I was looking at the great sale price and it looks good but just not sure. Enjoyed video. Thank you.
In all honesty I was hesitant at first too, But I became a customer about 6 years ago and I have participated in every sale that they have had since. The first two years or so were kind of rough and the website was kind of janky, But now I believe that they've sorted out all of their bugs and issues and all of my experiences since have been excellent with both the navigation of the website and purchasing of their products but also in the quality of the product that I receive after the fact. Not to mention the brand new lifetime warranty policy can't be beat. I have the opportunity to work with any flashlight company that I want to and I will choose Olight over and over again hands down.
@@PreparedGuyThank you for the quick reply. I setup an account and will give them a try. A lot of the complaints were older like during covid problems.
I disagree with their button placement. I think it would have been much better leaving it where it is on the arkfeld and would have been accessible from every form of use I can think of!.. except maybe head lamp, which I’d be severely disappointed if the button placement was strictly for that reason!! I know it takes more time and money to develop new designs but somehow it still feels like an after thought.. if they were so proud that it’s compatible with the Perun 2 headlamp then why don’t they have a bundle with them together for their sale? I think I’ll wait for the pro or whatever version comes next and see if the button or battery life gets any better. I may get the seeker 4 though, a little throwy for a seeker but I’ll make it work lol
Thanks Prepared Guy for the review. I like the button color now contrasts with the body. This light is begging for a neutral white. It would so much improve depth perception and color perception for work with colored wires, etc. Not to mention, be better for late night use to avoid disrupting ones circadian rhythms. I think I might hold off purchasing the final product and see if enough people request it or comment, that Olight might provide a neutral white version.
😂 yeah that's kinda a step backwards. The thing that makes anything an ARK anything from olight would be the addition of something cool like a UV or a laser. That why I was like, maybe they should have added a RED led. that way it actually has some type of niche. Not olights proudest moment in my opinion. Still it's simple enough and maybe even practical enough for some folks. I was going for more. I didn't purchases it during early prototype access for that very reason.
I definitely appreciate you watching the video close enough so that you could find a typo. Now if only you could be more specific so I can figure out where that typo is that would be great 😂🤦🏻♂️ imagine having to put together 2 major olight reviews in less than 48 hours notice and that I missed something like I typo. Let me know what they typo is please 😂it's gonna drive me crazy until I find it 🤷🏻♂️😂
@@breadyegg thanks 😂😂😂 my eyes aren't what they use to be with all these flashlights blinding me 😂😂😂 of course it would be that obvious. Thanks man I appreciate constructive point out.
The hinge is on the opposite side, so the clip could not be mounted there. If I was walking at night I would probably not clip it to the bill of my cap if you want to articulate the light downward as then it has to be under the bill of your cap. That works fine, but I worry that if I tripped or ran into something that might hurt. For walking I would probably clip it to somewhere else in front of me, the lower angle would likely be better anyway to discern any unevenness.
just buy a perun mini.. better output, better beam, swappeable battery. this is useless. they added a second led but it has less lumens output than a single led arfeld pro or uv? are they even serious at this point?
I like Olights. However I hate their proprietary charging system. I wish they would install a USB-C Charging port in their lights to allow for charging on the go.
A right angle light is my most used light. From being a paramedic to hiking to working on my truck, a 90° angle light is a must. Add an articulating head, sold!
