Interesting the old Javelot 'pro' has I think 2100lumen but the Turbo seems about the same power wise. I really like the warrior Turbo...similar power in a much smaller package.
I'm not sure about the pro, I've not used one. Im very happy with the javalot turbo tho. Id like to get a hold of the warrior soon, would be good to compare it. Tho the javalot does have a lot more battery.
Michael I just stumbled upon your channel, watched a good few vids now. Question is their a worthy flashlight you don't have? I get it a few months ago I heard some noises way down back of my yard...I tried facing it with a dolphin torch with half flat battery. Since then I have spent about $2k-ish on lights. Have quite a few Olights including the new Marauder2...even bought a NOS X7R.
There's 1 particular light coming out mid year, and its like nothing on the market. You'll know it when it turns up👌 I can't say anything about it tho unfortunately. There's also a few olights, warrior, x7r, and the marauder 2 id like to test.
@@srdlights7238 Well I paid well over $3 bills for the Marader2, it's very well made (like most Olight products) fit and finish is spot on. But they went with this new unseen funky dial type button interface. From off you need to the dial 90° to unlock it to then push the button to turn it on. I wish they had put say 15 Led's in the big head instead of 12 with 1 in the middle that is a 800 lumen optic thrower which can be turned on with a seperate switch. I prefer the simple interface of the X7R. One good thing about the Marauder2 is the PD-18w charging, you can pump power into it FAST, it has a 'C' type USB that can be also used as a battery bank. Look it's a great light it is fatter than the X7R as it's got 3x21700's where the X7R has 4x18650's. I just bought a Astrolux MF01s with 4 Samsung 30 18650's off Banggood for $130!! It hasn't arrived yet but uses the audril interface with a bunch of adjustments. 15000lumens 15led's for less than what I paid for many single cell Olights. Sure I'm not expecting the same quality but for $130!! I reckon it'll be a good torch. Got a diffuser with it too so it can be used a a lantern when camping. Olights Olanterns are pretty good too. But back to the X7R vs Marauder, well ones 14k vs 12k lumens but I grab the X7R over the Maruader2, I just like using it better. The X7R is an old out of production light now, I scored a deal getting mine for $150 barely used. Id like to get Acebeams 32k lumen X80GT?.. but not much sustainable light when turbo lasts 29aeconds or something then drops right down to 3k lumens. The Maruader2 is good like that it runs full tilt for ages before dropping down.
I nearly bought a X9R Marauder, I've just wanted a big Fk-Off light for a while but seeing Olight is constantly changing and releasing new product my guess is they'll upgrade the X9R soon, they seem on most lights to be moving to 21700 cells unless their small EDC torches. It would be nice to see a 40k lumen Maruader, which they could easily do as tech has changed a bit now but I hope they don't put that sill dial type switch on ANY new lights.
