They building a system that based in fndmntls, assignment based on alignment, execution. That sustainable overtime.. call a play and the D changes. Then alignment assignment change on the fly but that takes all working as one And continuity. Based on theory they would be impossible to stop. LA plays money ball. Pay him and him and him, that will not sustain success. Mack has one good game, I haven't heard his name in 10 games.
There are no positives. Worst defense in the league and you get shut out for a half. Coaching remains terrible. Constantly players are still out of sync with each other. There are individual failures on every single play, it’s absolutely insane
@@yutoob6181We missing leadership and accountability! I would love to have Olin Kreutz as head coach. Josh McCown as offensive coordinator. Rex Ryan or Mike Singletary as defensive coordinator!
i wish could post that crack pipe meme as a response to Olin's crazy hot take. Ebernagy is fast becoming a shtstorm. Olin has got to be the only person in chicago defending this moron coach of the chicago bears. There is NO WAY he still has command of that locker room. I doubt he ever had it to begin with
Hasn't lost the locker room but he sure loses football games. He has a 3-18 record. That is a 1.16 winning %. A team record. They have lost 14 straight games. A Team record. They have given up at least 25 points in 14 straight games. A team record. He is supposed to be a Defensive "expert" but his Defenses cannot stop a three legged sloth. They are giving up 383 yards of offense and 34.3 points a game.
@@cjhunnicutt4278 Yep. That is pathetic. The Bears have scored more points than 10 other teams and every one of those teams has won at least one game. Some of them have 2 wins. Should have taken Carter when he fell into your lap and then the best Edge Rusher on the board with your 2nd rounder. Poles passed on better players at positions of need to grab guys like Wright, Dexter, Stevenson and Pickens. He turned the 1st pick of the draft into DJ Moore and a bunch of reach/project picks.
I'd like to know that too because they seem to lose in every aspect of strength all the way from o line d line tackling I just think this organization is full of people there just collecting checks
No he hasn't they understand what they are working to accomplish. Lol they know they need to execute and learn. They have to learn thru attrition. Same with route runnung..players need to work leverage vs coverage and all read same as one. They need chemistry that has to evolve by and error. Learn from the mistakes.
Olin Kreutz for head coach Josh McCown for offensive coordinator Rex Ryan for defensive coordinator Lance Briggs for linebackers coach Alex Brown for defensive end coach Charles Tillman for defensive backs coach 🐻⬇️
Outside of Ryan, not one of those guys has any coaching experience. Nothing. Tillman did join the FBI so maybe he can help find the missing Bears Defense.
Olin always sounds like he is brand new watcher/analyst of the Bears. He’s always praising these minuscule “improvements” of these highly touted players and completely ignoring that these dudes should be way further than where they are and are still making the same mistakes. Kmet is trash, he’s the softest TE in the league, he never should’ve been resigned.
@@MH-wm6df care to elaborate? Calling me dumb isn’t exactly making an argument. What specifically am I being dumb about? How about we have a conversation here.
The problem is the owners of the bears. Bears fans should boycott the McCaskeys and not spend one more red cent of their hard earned money on this disgrace of a football franchise. Hit them where it hurts-only them will there be change. Otherwise, as long as the McCaskeys own the Bears, nothing will change and we will see the same cycle of abismal results that we have seen for decades.
The problem in the NFL is every team feels like they need to hire someone with coaching credentials. Olin would be a great offensive coordinator or lines coach. But he doesn’t have a resume other than actually playing in the NFL !! Not many defensive minded head coaches are successful in the NFL. I feel they tend to play conservative and always have what can go wrong rather than what can go right. Olin would coach Fields and explain to him that you need to learn to take what is given. It’s not a video game out there. No doubt that play should have been give to Fields. Love your stuff Olin, and no doubt in my mind that you will be on some teams sideline one day. The Claypool situation is baffling to me. Does anyone in the Bears organization have balls to let him go ??
Coaching is an extremely tough job .Something has been off with the Bears Team all season from the first game against the Packers. The play calls in the second half was odd.
It was seeing Justin in that lace shirt... You can discount that, but it got everybody's attention for good reason. Believing that if something goes wrong, teams QB is the saving Grace... That flashy, stylish stuff is a distraction... Speaks volumes of the players... How many flashy Qbs have won Super Bowls... Before you discredit my comment...
When a coach and a O C does not have enough imagination and common sense to run a 4th and 1 play that actually works more than 10 percent of the time and I don't mean running your tight end, because that's stupid also.
Olin is right. The bears are trying to build a foundation they can't keep taring it down. They can't keep drafting the next best QB to a team that has no identity.
I am trying to be patient, because 63% of our team was replaced and technically this is a first year of a rebuilding year. I sure don't like the proverbial, "we'll get em next year" though.
I wish the Bears would hire tenured, successful coaches that have experience in the role they are being hired into. Instead they take on risk by hiring people and elevating their roles and responsibilities. Is it any wonder why the Bears have been bad for so long?
Has anyone thought Virginia secretly hated her father George Halas?? Only Michael McCaskey has spoken the truth - "We don't care about winning. We just want to sell tickets." If Virginia truly cared about her father's legacy, she would spend to hire proven winning GM's and head coaches. Instead, she is content to buy from the Walmart bin and her actions speak loudest. She doesn't want to win.
Exackly every other year yall switch oc dc oc dc oc dc. What happened the other 25 times hired a oc? Need good players and exspecially a good qb otherwise coaching doesnt matter. Put andy reid on bears they would still suck. Would it look better prolly but not by much this team and qb blows. 90% of them wouldnt be starting anywere else
I respect Olin’s opinion and will never know as much about football as he has forgotten, however, I suspect that Eberflus probably has lost this locker room.
Claypool is not being used correctly just as JF1 has not been. Move on from Claypool to what? No OL, weak running game now that JF1 soared, the media now moves over to Claypool as the villain. INCREDIBLE!
You just got your biggest addition to the OL. He played well. Tevin will be coming back. Your RT is a developing rookie and LT is also very young and developing. This OL could look much better by week 9 than it does now.
They have to be better no doubt. The offense did execute and JF did all them things everyone wanted him bench during the week they said he will never do. But penalties....
