Olisa is my mentor, very intelligent and respected lawyer, my Excellency u are 100% correct. APC government is taking advantage. if u are not 4 APC, u are a gunner.
ONLY TWO Lawyers(SANs) I love and enjoy listening to in Nigeria: Olisa Agbakoba & Femi Falana. I always leave more enlightened after hearing these two talk. Thanks for this lecture, Barr.Agbakoba.
Olisa Agbakogba is a legal Icon. He is endowed with intelligence and wisdom from God. He is so professional. I hope to get closer to your firm . Needed registration procedures.? I love him with a passion.
Olisa you made my day, because of you I might look into Nigeria again because we have existed in our spirit but still walking around it with empty bodies
I respect the tactfulness of the responses of Olisa Agbakoba. I doff my cap for him. This is one of the finest legal officers in our great country. FG should tow the line of due process going about the 'fight against corruption'.
Can't you listen to Mr.Lawyer? He constantly says this rubbish or stupid action from the executive. In directly he says the executive is stupid or silly in their actions.
The lady in the middle is an empty head. Asking nonsense questions and keep repeating and regurgitating crap. The case is due process is not followed as enshrined in the constitution. Olisa, s submission is the stupid Govt and clueless APC should go about the case the right way period.
Mr Olisa must be very patient. The dumb lady in the middle has asked the same question a thousand times and received the same answer in over a thousand versions. Either she is not listening or she was placed there to play a role. Afterall the people that deliberately flouted due process in this case would not want to pounce on ARISE.
They are guided by what they say and create balance, unlike you that will just freely insult them. Journalist twist questions to get answers, na their work. You no fit read as fluent as she does.
Olisa agbakoba,I now see y u achieve this fit, I now understand y u reached this level in ur preffession, u are too sound, straight & unbiased, GOD bless u my mentor.
Nigeria will be a better place to live if due process is followed and not jungle and kangaroo court practices( inferring corruption practices). I wish many Nigerian in government high authority were like Dr. Olisa Agbakoba.
my prayer is simple may GOD take care of APC supporters and their generation the way they are taking care of Nigeria. and may God run their lives in a fast speed the way they are running Nigeria.
This is the reason PDP and apologists are going gaga! This is why Atiku seems hopeful - ON CJN: So many people are overrated in Nigeria. It's either they underrated our intelligence service or sheer stupid arrogance. A whole Chief Justice of Nigeria is making silly excuse. How could someone of his calibre not knowing they are being monitored? The money in Standard chartered wasn't there before Mr President took over in 2015 but was deposited there few months ago by desperado in PDP. The losers wanted to win the presidency through the Supreme Court. Appeal the election then get favourable judgement at the Apex Court. Unknown to them, the Judges are being monitored and all their lines are tapped. Atiku Abubakar and Bukola Saraki are daft. They thought they could used the CJN knowing that Mary Odili is under spotlight. What a wrong move? CJN need to step down because he has been caught red-handed with bribe money. To hell with Atiku Abubakar and his evil plan. And as for CJN? Shame on him.
Mr Agbakogba always see himself as Mr Right. In Nigeria we have way of doing thing most especially when as to do with our public or political office holder. The system always difficult in convicting highly place individual.
Even this one now have expose him more so desperate to remain in office again someone who is having health challenges still want to go for 2nd term we say no way.
If Buhari eventually won 2019 my people those men that fought OBJ 3rd term will defend him to go for 3rd term because they are foolish. Thank God senate and well meaning Nigerians won't allow that now.
The same goes for the president. If he goes contrary to the law,he's taken to the Senate and not to a court. Separation of powers. Can these girls abeg stop asking stupid questions?
I'm not an attorney, notwithstanding the law is very clear on the separation of power between the three arms of government. Olisa Agbakoba is very correct on the constitutional provisions of the head of the of the court. The only way to remove a Chief Justice of the federation is by impeachment by a 2/3 majority of the Senate. Buhari and his junta government have made a big fool of themselves. This also the case in the United States, and Nigeria constitution is mirrored from that of the United States.
The fear of failure, when a sin is committed, in order to undisclosed it, the one who committed the offence keep committing more in order to cover up the previous ones, that's exactly what you Seeing now in Nigeria.
This is what happens when an illiterate rules over a Nation. Criminality is treated with due process. This action is a pubic disgrace to the judiciary system. It’s an act to weaken the system... Due procedures and processes must be followed under the Nigeria law !
But Onnoghen is the head of the NJC and he indefinitely postponed the scheduled meeting of the NJC at the last minute with no reason given! So, the NJC was effectively excluded from participation in the process. Additionally, the Senate is not in session and Saraki's leadership is in question. And, while I am not competent to address this, the argument that the CJN "enjoys immunity" is questionable. The Legislature is a co-equal branch of government but, Senators and the Senate President himself can be investigated and charged to court. And if for instance, the CJN is accused of rape, does it mean that he cannot be investigated and charged to court?
He is not a SAN, and if he is really a SAN, then something is wrong with our country's judiciary. Olisa has lost his respect as a senior lawyer! He forgot that there is difference between "remove and suspension." We must not forget the CJN is a civil servant! What is the meaning of this SAN anyway? Agbakogba is not define lawyer. He can make noise in Nigeria. The jankara SANs make noise here and there. CJN is corrupt (?), the court will prove, this is the due process, it is 'rule of law.' Olisah is not like Gani Fayemi, Agbakogba cannot represent the poor! Strong and resolute he said? This guy is at sea! The CJN, to save the judiciary, he could have resigned!!!
Olisa Agbakoba and Femi Falana has disappointed us Nigerians in challenging the legality of the federal government for the removal of CCJ Walter Onnoghen. I love listening to both of you on national issues. Both of you own Nigerians an apology. How could ccj Walter Onnoghen forget to declare such huge amounts of money? Is the money in question is after or before his swearing in as ccj and what is business that fetch him such amounts of money? The source of the money is well known to the federal. As both of you are SAN. The federal government cannot publish their defense to the public until the outcome of the investigating tribunal for more clarity.
Agbakoba will knew now that all so called yourself activities efore, are see now as thief criminal. Stop deceiving Nigerians. Tell CJN to answer the bribed allegation or step down. All your Pdp plan has be caught
What is wrong with us with doing things the right way , we have a constitution to follow but we choose to ignore it and do things the way we like just because it suits us forgetting that two wrong doesn't make right.
if I may ask how come buhri become presendent of Nigeria. with no education. shame to those who called themselves professors in Nigeria. even the one who called himself vip which is a pastor. Nigeria people should join hand together and plan how you people will wipe out old political in Nigeria
Please Mr Agbokaba why don't you tell these three women stooges who happened to have visited US or lived there understand that , if a Police officer makes an arrest without reading a Miranda Rights (as part of the Due Process) is a case bound for dismissal in a competent court
To the lady jonalist! on my opposite right, from edo state! Your face pounder! Is like regular one! Compared to the one, you rob the other day! Am sorry with due respect, with your golden voice. Congratulations to your husband. My edo woman.
For Nigeria to start following the Rule of Law, Vote AAC and its Candidate Omoyele Sowore! Say no to Buhari APC and Atiku PDP! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U3EJvwWkbOU.html

Thats a rubbish, denying justice because of some legal technicalities, is that your defense of a chief Justice of Nigeria who has $3mln dollars in his account and cannt explain how he got 3 mln dollars!

Some of you don't even have sense. Is it Buhari that calls for his prosecution?
It seems like Once you become apc member you lose your mind and your conscience and then buy betrayal and shamelessness, for example, look at festus kamo,Osinbajo, Adam oshomhole and Ashia Buhari etc.
Captain, I am not sure why you are replying to me. I just made a comment, you should make yours and move on. I don't have patience with frivolities and that was grous with the lady. Clearly my dear brother, the lady didn't do her homework to understand the position of the law and constitution in this kind of issues. She would have consulted her legal department to understand the case a bit more. Any sound and articulate mind know that she was just trying to inject her thoughts or bias inclinations which is okay but at the end it didn't fly with Olisa, it didn't fly with me and it didn't fly with all the comments which mirrored my views and opinions. Hope this helps you a bit. Happy new year brother.
Agbakoba just created immunity for the CJN. Did not expect anything different from him since he remains sympathetic to PDP. I am beginning to think that most Nigerian SANS are not properly educated. Nigerians and dishonesty are like inseparable twins! If Agbakoba were to be in an advanced country and shows up on tv with such audacious dishonest views, he will be embarrassed and chewed alive but this is Nigeria where people are easily swayed and deceived due to our low level of intelligence and poor analytical and critical thinking skills. Well the lady in the middle was only the smart and honest one.
The young lady in between. ..you should try as well as possible to read herder so that you'll be a judge. ...do not be acertive when you are not a court or a judge....do your home work well before coming out to speak in public...."That indites him" a judge you are.
ARISE TV. I kindly appeal to you not to ever allow (the fair-skinned lady who sat in the MIDDLE to ever interview anybody. She is not intelligent and smart at all. She should Never come on board. EVER!! She kept on asking stupid and senseless questions all through and through even though it was glaring that Olisa Agbakogba had explained the due process to be followed on the removal of the Chief Justice of Nigeria. Yet she was asking Dumb questions. Honestly, that lady does not deserve to be on TV. She needs to go to the North to teach broken English to Almajiri kids
Have you ever watched interviews by foreigners before. You think she is there to clap for Agbakoba. I don't blame you guys. Social media has made it possible for everybody to become an expert in everything. Just because she is not asking the type of pro-pdp questions that you like does not make her dumb. Agbakoba is being dishonest and needed to be challenged. He is lucky he did not have more aggressive interviewers.
Dear Arise TV, I am seeing this fair lady in green who sat in the middle for the first time. Kindly not allow her to do an interview again unless she is well trained. Acting like a 'professional everything' and actually know nothing only embarrasses her and this channel. She lacks understanding and unfortunately proofs too know. And she even acts like a mole. Thank you.
Agbokaba is so disingenuous in every sense of reasoning. He's rambling, and full of himself. On one he would indict the judge, including other ex-governors' corrupt whose the cases lingering over twelve years for wrong doings on one hand, and on the other hand he would be blaming the government for taking quick action against the judge, accusing the government of not following the due process. It's good one of the journalists corrected him that the government followed the due process. The bottom line is when one is wrong, let the person accept the responsibility and the consequence. That's being civilized, professional and responsible.
Mark ok the issue of quick decision came in because the govt.fails to follow due process.wildly the govt.felt if he does he may not achieve his aim as being speculated.
I'm not an attorney, notwithstanding the law is very clear on the separation of power between the three arms of government. Olisa Agbakoba is very correct on the constitutional provisions of the head of the of the court. I presume the structure of Nigeria democracy is a bit difficult for you to understand.Best thing for people like you would be to run the system without a constitution. If l may ask,can the president dragged to any court if he's accused of wrong doing, out of negligence, oversight or error of judgment?Even when he accepts it.If the answer is yes, then take the CJ to court.
@@stepheniwundi9159 This immunity also applies to the president. It is enshrined the constitution of the Federal Republican of Nigeria. The only way to remove a president from the office is by impeachment by the house of representatives, and a trial, and removal by the 2/3 majority of the Senate. An impeachment alone by the house of the representative dont even remove a president from the office. These are done to avoid an abuse of power by one arm of government against the other. It is call separation of power. The legislature, judiciary and the presidency enjoy some kind of immunity. Ask yourself why the presidency has been unable to remove the senate leadership even though both have defected to PDP? The law do not give the presidency the power. None these folks can be remove without the act of the legislative branch of government. Please go and read the Nigerian constitution if you have not done so. It is very clear and straight forward. The president lacks the power as long as Nigeria is in a continuational democracy as stipulated in Nigerian constitution.
