@@carolinecrollick6305 Back and Refreshed from their LIVE TV appearance with Andrew covering the 2021 University Boat Race from Ely, Cambridgeshire between Oxford and Cambridge. They went for a run along the river until Olive had enough and hitched a lift in the buggy which was following them:)
Thank you, Dave, for inspiring this brilliant (and earthy) glimpse into the fascinating lives of our heroines, Olive and Mabel-and the always clever and smile-provoking Mr. Cotter. 💕😉💕
Had to share with my family as our cat Dave is a well known dodgy character and I can be fairly confident he did tell her to do it. And I wouldn't accept one of his cheques ever!
@@tracycooper2225 Yes! My daughter named her (yes her) Lotte but by then my husband was feeling totally outnumbered by all the women in the family so took to calling her Dave. Now we all call her that. And s/he really is a very dodgy character.
I don’t think you know who you’re talking to here mister! This is MABEL. She’s a HUGE multi-media star on TV, RU-vid, and in print. Rumor has it she even has a Netflix deal in the works 🎥 Dave is her new Manager. It used to be Andrew something-or-other, but now I hear he helps out at a dog spa. Now stop gabbing and go get Mabel a biscotti. Biscuit indeed.
Much as I want things to get back to normal. Really don't want it to happen if it means Mr. Cotter has to go back to work, and videos of Olive and Mabel stop happening! To funny sir, hopefully you will find time to keep making these videos!
I remember being out with my Susie and happy that on this one occasion she had not jumped into a big muddy puddle. It was like she read my mind and found the darkest muddy puddle to leap into......walking home with a Border Collie wearing four "mud socks" just like Mabel. ❤ Miss you Susie. ❤❤
I have a dalmatian who jumped into a lake in an area where a forest fire had been a week or so earlier. She stirred up all the ash and crud and jumped out literally looking like a chocolate lab and smelling to high heaven.
"touch up your roots in a minute"...laugh out loud moment!!! This is precious and wonderful, as usual! "Glamping in the Lake District".....I needed this since Takis and Viktor are having health issues and the rescue work is so important and it's a worry about them!
Always a treat to see Olive and Mabel and good to know they were able to get a hairdressing appointment at such short notice. If you see Dave can you ask him to pass on my thanks to Mr Andrew Cotter for ensuring the superstars are always at their best for their public. I'm sure with his delightful voice he could get a job as say a sports commentator ... maybe the 6 Nations Rugby or something along those lines .... I'm sure Olive and Mabel would give him a reference .... What's that? He already IS a sports commentator .... See, I told you he would be a natural.
@@edwinawareing2395 I agree about how funny he and Hazel Irving make the sports commentary when they spark off each other ... really great. Thanks for the compliment too 😁👍
Yes, sweet Mabel. Eighty pounds *is* an astonishing sum, but it is small price to pay to stay in the good graces of dear Mr. Andrew Cotter. How kind and generous he is to dote on you girls and all of us. Warm regards to Dave. 😉
For a split second I thought this video was about Olive and Mabel being invited to one of Hyancinth Bucket's candlelight suppers (and everyone falling into a muddy river after).
Truly brilliant, makes me laugh out loud whenever I see you. Love your great 📖 book, have read cover to cover but it sits next to my chair as my go to even just to look at the pictures. Olive and Mabel you have a very talented dad
A long anticipated episode in the antics of the two most adorable dogs in the entire world. Mabel and her kissable nose excelling in the lead role of heart melter with Olive a very close second in her supporting role. My day is complete!
Even when you’re punishing Olive and Mabel or upset at them, your voice is so calm and soothing. Who can be mad at them though? They sat still and let you wash their legs so nicely too.
I'd brush out my aunt's 3 Labs; they all looked kinda doubtful, and the Mom would take not-so-swift, ruthless and largely ineffectual attempts at gnawing on the brush (missing it by at least 6 inches each time, despite how close we were together). But they let me finish the job as I talked to them about how good they would look, and capturing their "excess furs" while doing the brushing very slowly and lightly (unlike the shorter, sharper strokes many people use on brush-outs). :)
Hmm...I saw some tell-tale mud left on the back leg. 80 pounds seems a bit steep for a shoddy job (lol), but then there's Dave to consider. I love these videos! And yes, she needs her roots touched up. My black lab is beginning to get white in the face, too. Anyway, thanks for the smile. Have a lovely and blessed day.
Bless ❤ How did I miss this one. Just watching for the first time in October 2022, on a morning that I desperately needed a smile. Thank you Andrew, and thank you RU-vid algorithm. 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful pups and humor with us. I had a difficult day, but just watched your video and it made me laugh. Please give Olive and Mabel a biscuit from me. I bought your book and thoroughly enjoyed it. 😷🇺🇸
Folks if you haven't read Andrew's book run...don't walk...to your nearest bookseller and get it. It's perfect. Olive, Mabel, and Me: Life with Two Very Good Dogs.
The audible version is FABULOUS!! Hearing the story read by Mr. Cotter transports the reader into all the action, adventure, and tales of love in a way only he can. I am in the midst of my third listen!💙
@@madeleineprice9645, Even reading the book, I still heard his voice in my head. Yes, everyone, get the book. I thought it would take a week to read, but I was finished in two days.
I've loved every one of your videos, please keep them coming. Olive and Mabel are beautiful dogs and you are so lucky to have each other... 🐕🐕🐕❤️❤️❤️🤣🤣🤣
