RIGHT!!! I can’t stop raving about this olive! 🤣 it is so close to the original if not exact 😱 and omg bahaha I’m sooo glad you get me! I swear anytime I talk about my different inserts for different collage “styles” I’m like, there’s no way anyone else is gonna see the differences I see 🤣❤️

@@amandaleighplans That olive one is so beautiful! I dreamed of owning one of the olive tns, but the mark up $$ I just can't justify. I rather get a truly yours or more regular tns. As for the collage, I wouldn't be able to explain it either, but they are completely different in my brain😂I'm so in love with those handmade paper inserts! I NEED ONE!

Oh wow, can’t believe your olive is like my black! 😱 it’s crazy how the leathers can differ. Camels are of course known to be fuzzy, yet my first ever camel was completely smooth and waxy like my black! Luckily every camel I’ve had since then has been fuzzy, as that’s my preferred texture 😂 but I’ve seen Olives that have identical leather to my dupe! And I actually have a story about where I buy my handmade paper inserts on my IG @ amandaleighplans - it’s in the Q&A highlight! I tagged all the shops in that story too. But I can def do a separate video maybe even just on IG actually showing my various inserts and mentioning shops! Atelier Nour is a good US shop since she actually has them readily available.. a lot of the ones I own are no longer sold or sold out since shops only make so many at once! But pretty happy paperie is another shop that usually always has them in her Etsy and she also includes one in every paper bundle so I have a lot from her lol! She’s in Indonesia

I totally went from 0-60 too fast! 😂🙈 I had only one cover and I was totally fine with that… and somehow it turned into this in a few months 😅 I fell down the travelers company rabbit hole! I hope you can get some hobby time soon!

I’m definitely doing and loving things now that I never thought I would! And yes, I most certainly have not chosen one aesthetic or one style! I love to do them all 😂

I am telling youuuu, nothing could make me buy an olive TRC at those prices! 🤣 it is just wayyy too much! And typically if I get a dupe of something I don’t really love it and eventually I buy the actual item. But with this, I am perfectly happy with this dupe. I would believe it was TRC, it feels and looks the exact same! I have no desire for a real olive, unless of course they released them again and I could get it for their standard pricing lol

Such a funny question because I LOVE SCRATCHES. You will see me purposefully scratching them to get more scratches 😭 the first answer is that at the time this video was filmed, I was fairly new to travelers company as a brand. So all of my TN’s were more or less new. Now, a lot of those notebooks have collected tons of wear and scratches! But that said, I do think mine wear at a slower rate because I work from home and can’t afford to travel constantly… so, they aren’t out and about as often as other peoples may be!

The acrylic drawers are from Amazon! They’re linked in my amazon favorites - and half the price of the famous Muji ones! :)

You know I gotta say… when I bought mine, they sold out shortly after. Then maybe 3 months later they restocked. I bought a passport size one after the restock and I found it was nowhere near as nice as my original standard size one. The elastic was the same size so maybe that was a more recent change, BUT.. the shiny pewter yes, and I also noticed it wasn’t made *as well* and also the leather wasn’t as nice!! My standard one was so amazing which is why I went nuts sharing and now I feel like they’re being made differently 😭

But - I am still glad you love it!!! Not bad by ANY means especially for that price point. I think it’s worth it for the price. But I definitely think they’re not as good now as my standard one for some weird reason

So I’ll first mention that the listing says this is Crazy Horse (Pull Up) leather. I’m not exactly sure what TRC uses nor am I a leather expert so pls take what I say with a grain of salt lol! It’s just my novice opinion. To me, this leather feels the exact same as my TRC ones. It has that same semi-soft feel, and scratches up just the same. I wouldn’t say it’s SUPER scratchable because mine still doesn’t have that many on it (I wish it had more lol!) but it is, and the scratches are beautiful. To me it feels the same as TRC, if you told me this was on brand I would fully believe it. I absolutely love it and the quality, especially for $30!
