Can’t speak for everyone but deskinning and the nuts n bolts are are part of the process, reminds me of the ole days Someone was working on something any giving weekend, Word get around and before they knew it they was hosting a party in their garage barn backyard 😂 wherever their choice of shop was 😲 🤭 ✌️🤙

Much respect to you i couldn't work or get anything done in that crowded cluttered up mess how do you keep up with anything in those conditions i don't even recall even seeing a work bench with any space to even set a drinking glass?
Dan a John Deere dealership had a device they bolted to the engine. It had leveling jacks on both ends. A jack with wheels held up the transmission. They charged a fee of $ 50 to spilt and put back together a tractor. I heard this in 1966 or 1967.
I remember that dealership when I was young kid just outside marine city on marsh rd farmer had bought oliver parts from there and equipment back in the day signs where still there oliver , white equipment into the early 2000s if I remember right cool pc of history for this area just seen guy looking to get those dealership stickers reproduce for a baler his grandpa bought at that dealer brand new in the 60s
