Oliver and Lucas travel all the way to Lebanon to learn about a very special art form called pottery aka ceramic! Through creativity and messy hands, they learn all about clay texture and formation while making a fun art piece. They get super messy molding the clay, but finally succeed and paint their new creations!
They meet with a talented master potter who will give them a very special pottery class where they will learn how to be creative and get their hands messy.
Pottery is one of the oldest human inventions dating back to over 10,000 years ago. The history of pottery is a rich and ancient one as it is one of the most widespread forms of human art and technology.
Pottery is a way of making all sorts of things out of a special mud called clay. You start with a lump of clay, and you shape it into anything you want, like a cup, a plate, or even a cute animal.
It can get super messy moulding the clay but the clay texture feels so nice and relaxing as it glides between your hands.
