This is America right here brothers and sisters! Jamey's song is one of the best tributes to the greatest generation, too cool he just walked up out of the sea of voices that were already singing along, adding his voice, once again, to tip his hat to our kin, the WW II vets!
Thank you for showing this. As a 43 year Army veteran, I broke down listening to this. Standing along the rode to the flight line, saluting a fallen brother under the flag in Bagram Afghanistan on his journey home haunts me daily. My grandfather was deployed in the Pacific during WWII and I have read letters he had written to my Grandma about some of the horrors he saw on the islands. Every generation goes through soul breaking things and my soul needed this this morning. This song is timeless.
It is timeless and Thank You, Sir, for your sacrifice and service. My Great_Uncles served during WWII. My Grandaddy wasn't accepted because he had 'flat feet'. He worked in CCC in California then came home to work in 'The TNT Plant' in Mason County, WV. One of my Great-Uncles couldn't live on the farm after the war, it was too quiet. He went to live with my Grandaddy who had five kids, My Mom was the oldest.
War is Hell, and the Worst One is yet to come I fear, God Bless US All! Enjoy the Beautiful moments like this one here, every day we're abve ground is a Blessing...🇺🇸
This show was great. I heard Rich Men the day before this and convinced my wife to drive to Morris Farms. The turnout was insane and he's gone way more viral since this. I think the radiowv video was 5 mil views then and now it's almost 25 mil.
The main video on radiowv is over 29 million views now, but that’s not even counting all the videos like this one floating around with the song and people just posting that video on their own channels or clips on RU-vid shorts and TikTok. I’m fascinated by how quickly his popularity exploded. I’ve never seen anything quite like it and I’ve seen it happen in real time
I’m consider myself a man’s man. But as I was approaching the middle of this song, my eyes welled up with tears and I’m not even struggling like many people. His delivery is so powerful and moving, one would be a bimbo not to be stirred by it. Indeed, it IS the protest song of our generation. This is art that can galvanize the masses in a revolution.
Absolutely!! United We Stand, Divided We will Fall.. takes a village to make the needed changes, get our country back to love, peace kindness is so simple and easy.. Blessings Always..
Awww Man! I missed it! I couldn't go anyways I'm out here in the belly of the beast East Side San Jose California aka Silicon Valley. I'm an American Patriot born of Mexican parents and I relate more to you small town folk than the crazies we have out here ruining everything.
@@nanettemickelsen8075 Really Fremont California! Named after Captain John Fremont US Army and the first Republican Presidential candidate in 1856 was a famous for leading an expedition to California where he lead the Bear Flag Revolt of 1846! Never heard of her.
@@nanettemickelsen8075 Why are we Northern Californians so....... crazy....? weird....? I mean F@¢king weird...? For lack of a more insulting word? It's an honor to meet you and there's a lot more of us than people think here in California
Idk if you all can feel it but I seriously feel the love that's reuniting us idk it's just a feeling I know that's happening just because of "Richmond north of rich men" it feels amazing that we can all love each other again and respect each other. Love you America, love you people out there..
Oliver you are such a good soul. Please do not let them change you. You are truth & everything you write & sing about comes from the heart ❤️….we love you & never let THEM change you……Terri from Ontario, Canada 🙏☺️🇨🇦♥️✌️
WOW !!! What a great moment in country music and fellowship. I've loved Jamie Johnson from the first time I heard him sing. Anthony Oliver is bringing the real country back.
Sorry I'm getting more spirituality from your reactions to his music. It makes me awake strong happy sad hopeful and blinded to color age and Jender love you all from a old vet in Alaska. America heals
It was hot as hell that day, 95 degrees+. His first concert after going viral. Small NC farm market on a road that goes to the North/South to Outer Banks or Chesapeake/Virginia Beach/Norfolk. Legendary event.
Praying this is a turning point in our country for removing The Rich Men North of Richmond and returning it to a democracy - of the people, by the people and for the people. (quote from Abraham Lincoln)
Would have really enjoyed the opportunity to be there. But very glad that this video was captured for posterity. This is the most awesome thing I've seen. It's like we're waking up and coming together; at least that's my hope.
Before I had only read about History. With Oliver, I'm watching History being made. It's kind of like it would have been to see Hank Williams starting out. There is just something in the passion of the delivery of these songs that he has written. Hypnotizing😮
For those who say country aint what it used to be dont know Jamey. Jamey already wore down them shoes the Possum was inquiring about. And if you want more check Whitey Morgan & the 78s.
I shared this with my black and mexican friends at the job site. I'm the only white guy left, but that's ok..because our struggle is exactly the same. Even my daughter's black boyfriend agrees. We're all EXACTLY THE SAME! And if don't agree don't tell me your a Republican.
Nope, full conservative here, and I completely agree. The only thing that matters is individualism, liberty, and freedom. Well, and the love we have for one another. That's it, nothing more. And I can't really call myself a Republican anymore. I think that both parties are in on the same sick game.
@@barrycrawford7326 I know most every conservative I've ever met to be good hearted and well meaning person. And that satire doesn't always translate through text that well. ♥️
Trying to get your hand on the wheel, and you can't even spell FARM! Um... do you have to repost it to change the title? Hell.. I dunno, I only know how to spell FARM.
