Off to Oliver on a beautiful autumn day for lunch October 8, 2021.
My wife, Reissa, makes a rare appearance as she is not as fond of flying as I am in our Vans RV6A!

Its so cool to see all the topography and all the lakes. You really saw the milder temp difference as you got further south as well.

Yeah the lunch "review" is in the return video...gotta work on my "review" skills. Good pizza though....Amore Pizza Factory, about a 7 minute walk from the airport fuel pumps...out to the highway and turn right. Mom and pop place that's been there for years.

Yes it was! It was 1 hour down (mostly direct), and about 1:10 return via Kelowna and Salmon Arm (video just posted!)

I'd Love to see destinations over Metro Vancouver, Surrey, Coquitlam , Howe Sound, Squamish, Whistler and Victoria too.....that would be amazing.......Keep up the great work

Lovely flight. My wife isn't much of a flier either but she has gotten better over the years. Where did you go for lunch? Is there someplace within walking distance? My memory of Oliver is the airport is close to businesses though I've never flown there.

Oliver is a great place to go for lunch. A couple of chains and a lot of mom and pop places all along the highway less than 5 minutes walk from the apron. This time we went to Amore Pizza Factory

No serious interest in a 360 yet...I'm still learning how to edit "normal" video...from what I gather there is another layer of complexity to edit 360 first, then add it into my current mix. I'm sure it's coming, just no plan yet!

3S7 on the Oregon Coast use to be my go to for camping. Just a few minutes south is Tillamook and a courtesy car, plus full size town to shop. There's also a rather large dairy and tours are all the time. Who doesn't like cheese and Ice Cream. Do you use Foreflight ?

You know what? I didn't notice that before...another airplane probably 2-3000 ft below. Nice catch. I've watched that several times during editing etc
