OLIVER SAMUELS shares his STORY 

Here in England Oliver Samuel's Comedy was a staple. In fact we watched them so often we could repeat most of the dialogues from each episode. Some of the phrases have become part of how we relate to each other even today. 😂😂😂really funny. I used to have a few friends round and we would all sit and laugh "till we belly buss" My ultimate favourites are, "Mad Max" "Guess whose coming to dinner" and, "lt must be a Duppy" You know,🤔 so much has changed in my life. I look back on those days with real fondness. "Teach Dem, " Well done. 👍🏾💯 another brilliant interview. Thank You. 💪🏿🙏🏾😊. Oh, and how can I forget "irreverent Reverend" and the Great "airport" 😂😂😂

Oliver Samuels is one of those living legends. He’s in a bracket of iconic Jamaican cultural giants with the likes of Miss Lou, Vollier “Claffy” Johnson, Bob Marley, (I left out Glen “Titus” Campbell intentionally because everybody know ‘bout him already). These guys are the History (my bad: the Our story), the tale of the Jamaican People - the pint size giant in the globe.

A good man overall. No act when it comes to him being a good human. He’s my godfather. He played a vital role in assisting me throughout my high school years. I love him dearly

One of my favourite lines from him along with Maffy was when they attempted to share the money,so Oliver said "we a split it 60/40," Maffy rebutted and said "no sah,it affi split 60/60"... Oliver came back and said "aright 60/60, when mi tek my 60% di remaining 60% is yours." Maffy said "DEAL!!!" R.I.P Volier "Maffy" Johnson! Salute!!!

Very happy that Teach is documenting the comedic icon's journey. Of course, I wouldn't really trusted anyone else to document this journey.

Met Oliver at Manley Airport back when I was 15. He did not hesitate to sign me an autograph and take 3 pics with me and my little sister. He was a genuine guy to us. Stardom and being Large-Oh had no effect on his love for his fans!
