OK to clarify all this in a short way: The singer Oliver Tree released ‘Jerk’ in 2020. Two years later, a small producer called Southstar made a remix using Oliver’s vocals. Not even having the rights for it. The song went unnoticed for a while, until someone promoted his song on Instagram. It got to Oliver Tree’s attention and Oliver complained about it, so Southstar made a new version with someone else’s vocals and cleared the rights with Oliver Tree and his team. Then not even a month later, Robin Schulz made the EXACT same instrumental but in his style, and then collaborated with Oliver (probably because they’re on the same label), and made a new song.
