he has to protect her from Stabler now. That won't be easy because she is blindsided. She is still in her memories of the years she spent being his partner. She knows she's going nowhere with Stabler. Really, hope they will fix it up, she deserves the best and Stabler is troubles. (+ Isn't he too old to investigate ? )

She feels betrayed by Barba but she is ok with Stabler who brought this mess in to her life ? OMG ! Stabler had an affair with Angela then with another woman but Olivia is still ok ??? She wants to forgive him,,,, she asked Barba not to take this case and now she is angry. And Barba has to apologize when Benson who helped stabler has not to apologize ,,,, Really hope that next season she will make her mind - Stabler 'used to be' her partner and ten years later he never changed - Never had any kind of regards for her and her private life Still thinking she is available for him whenever he wants - is there any future for this relationship ? She knows that Wheatley threatened her life because he wants a revenge on him - and she is ok with that ? Amanda was so right, do something and move on. Go away from this chaos

She's not blinded by stabler Barba loves her but he is a constant conflict for if you really watch their fight even their win in the end he he betrayed because just my opinion he knew he really would never have her lover like stabler does

why is she saying that fans want Stabler back on the show and in her life ? He always was jealous of her boyfriends, and sometimes he was right, and she was alone with no other joy but her job ? She already had a great friendship with Barba, they have to fix it up, and move on together- Let Elliot spiraling and losing himself uc, he has a family and a Sargeant.

I always felt she and Barba were intellectually matched. I never understood Cassidy or Tucker. She and Barba could be written to be together since he’s not a regular on the show. Their relationship could be handled that way, him being on the show occasionally and that way it stays fresh.

@@ellenmraz4635 Olivia and Cassidy were seeing each other in the first season of the show. I liked seeing them back together and more mature even though he wasn't "the one."

@@l9898_ Barba puts her first , Stabler puts himself first as usual - he can ruin her career and her life without any second thought when Barba would sacrifice his own life for her ,and Noah - Liv's grown enough now to realize that she needs Barba in her life - -(and I'm happy😂)

I have a feeling that is wat happened cause he knows the truth with what happened with Lewis trial and any other attorney would have brought up the face that she ammited to lying on the stand under oath they would have destroyed her and Elliot would have found out and I don’t think el/liv relationship is back to that point where they share everything I just hope we get to see more of barba next season and that liv and barba fix their relationship

Benson is confident in Barba. Even when she cries that she feels betrayed by him. She can't complain to Stabler who comes and goes... He's grieving and working undercover. So Barba is still by her side and she puts all the blame on him. She only deserves that Barba takes a case in another city and let her shout alone.

@@ldaugherty23 her squad asked him to be the DA for a victim,,,and she comes to thank him because he won the case - - and when he is going, she says "I miss you too" - Captain's words ! and this feeling of abandonment - Stabler walking away, then Barba who came back - maybe it's time for some happiness

It is Law and Order. Totally Barba and Olivia. Stabler with Olivia would be Law and Disorders. And now Olivia has a son who needs stability. Stabler working undercover is not the best for a safe family life,.

who knows ? Because I don't know how much the writers depend on the producers and MH is one of the producers. I only think of that short vid when MH and CM are welcoming some NBC actors in their home to watch the Super Bowl (?) . My feeling, Olivia won't be happy with Stabler. They have too many bagage.

So they will meet again - and that's a "Thank you" from her squad because she's always been there for each of them - Fin knows Stabler since nearly day one - and these two were not the perfect match- and Amanda also knows her Benson and she has some gratitude for her. (But it is easier to reconnect with Stabler who is the man she wants). Barba walking away it's a whitness of her récent past years who is going away. Noone there and she can built another life from this empty area. Every thing clear. Ready to be avalaible for Stabler.

She has some feelings for Barba. Maybe he makes her feel secure. They enjoyed squabbling together in his office, having a drink like at home, they had their intimacy like an old couple. Things went south when he unplugged the baby. Then it grew worse with Stabler ... Now they have to fix up their friendship : before stabler it was easy , they used to meet and spend happy moments together without thinking further. But they will make it. Olivia wants to stay with her friend Barba. They already are a couple but they are not "conventionnel."
