I really wish these videos were labeled part one, part two, etc. The videos are all over the place, I’ve had to search for them and ended up watching out of order!
Olivia' sweetness is what makes her relatable and true to everyone funny how one person can make me laugh cry and think before I do anything risky or to dangerous to me
My ex found out something like this with his mother. It was quite shocking as the man that he had grown calling "dad" died thinking that he was this man's father.
Sorry I'm just laughing so hard about that's silly spinster going for the harpist. I'm sure the man couldn't even afford to buy her a dress let alone support her financially back then and she gave up a man that of course she was a spinster stuck in India and she comes back to London and the world is at her feet what a wonderful opportunity for her unfortunately born in the wrong time.
When I first saw her on screen I thought she seemed like a really lovely person. Seeing her in this I think she is probably even nicer and cuter than I thought. Such a nice friend to have I'd imagine.
@@footyfan101ful Yes she did. I find the critics choice Awards interesting, which I call them the second Golden Globes in disguise. Given, every one of the top critics groups save one, being the the National Board of review,(Gaga), has picked Colman, (L.A., N.Y., NSOFC), strangely, we get this"tie" with Gaga and Close? Yeah, right. Create some drama to try and boost Oscar ceremony ratings. Vote performance and not manufactured trends. Colman for the Oscar win.
The first time I saw her performance was "Favorite" I thought what an amazing range, she completely obliterates Emma Stones and Rachel Weitz, she's amazing actress and deserves an Oscar for her spellbinding performance....
The couple worked for East Indian company if anyone knows history East India used to do trade in spice and slaves the East Indian company made more their money shipping slaves for Rich nobles in Europe
This lady is just one of most down to earth yet so versatile in her work.....superb at her job. She’s so likeable, and individual....a rare find these days. Just brilliant in every character she tackles 👏🏻
she's one of my favorite actresses. I just loved her journey into her family. I found out from finding some newspaper articles that my grandfather was going to marry this lady and she in turn became an actress but as far as I know they didn't get married. She went to NY to the stage. It was in 1902 or 1903 and he married my grandmother in 1905.
I remember watching her 20 years ago with the guys from Peep Show doing free live comedy at the Drill Hall in London (I think it was being recorded for radio). Didn't know then that she would go on to win an Oscar!
Aditi Lallit It’s actually about 3 generations back from Richard Bazett. We’re related through Mathew Bazett I. St Helena. I’m South African lol, we stayed in the general vicinity.
I have always loved her in everything she’s in. That’s funny that she just likes staying in her jammies at home. Does she know she’s in a ton of stuff and is famous?!😂😂😂
Oh my gosh - I just came across this video! After watching it, I subscribed and I'm going back to binge watch it all. PS I'm American woman, not particularly interested in genealogy and don't even know who this woman is but I'm captivated!
If anyone is a peep show fan... I'm sure at 2.35 is the house they filmed Sophie and Mark meeting Sophies parents when she was given Nanas cottage for her birthday.
good idea, but I don't think so ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g-fhHFfCdKY.html this is that scene of Sophie coming down the stairs at her birthday Filming locations for that episode are in Hertfordshire. www.imdb.com/title/tt1011847/locations?ref_=tt_dt_dt
Olivia Colman the English actress was from Norfolk, my Dads mother was Ethel Mabel Colman also from Norfolk, and later moved to London.Im wondering if anyone knows if they’re related ?
I also descend from the Colmans in Norfolk. They go waaaaay back, far as I can tell, so while you may be related, a common ancestor might be several hundred years ago. I found your grandmother on FamilySearch but no common relative between your Colmans and mine as of yet. Your line on that site ends in 1718 so it must have been before then, or through someone not yet added to their system.
English language is seriously impaired by not having separate vocabulary for paternal and maternal grandfathers, grandmother, , and aunts, uncles , etc, from either paternal or maternal lineages, and their spouses. This is not the case with Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi or other Indian subcontinental languages which are more exact in defining blood relationships and those by marriage to these blood relations.
The same thing happened to my grandmother. A walk with a gentleman Preacher giving her a polite accompaniment in the daylight caused a total local stir. The Conch telegraph went out and before my grandmother got home, her husband was accusing her of infidelity. She would not hear of that rubbish and divorced him. He was a serial philanderer so he must have seen himself in the mirror and blamed her. Thank you to her, she was born in 1901.
She is the absolutely sweetest thing... love that there is not a pretentious bone in her body. Feel like if you ran into her she would just give you a big hug hello!

Well, Norfolk, really looks like Tx, with better weather. Adultery, wow...the tart...well some women need constant attention from the husband or she'll find it elsewhere.
