Finally a version that corrects all the horrible off beat timing of the other remixes and the removal of vocal segments. This is the best mix of this song, period.
This song is a waltz. Victor Calderone had to completely rearrange the timing (like Whitney's "Star Spangled Banner" he went from 3/4 time to 4/4 time) .... not to mention this song uses a few chords that aren't in its primary scale of F (i think ). This is a huge undertaking with today's computer software - don't even wanna think how much work this was in 1997. And it sounds great!!! TBH this mix shows Victor Calderone's technical skill more than any other mix of his I've heard knowing what it started as and how it ended up.

It's not a waltz. This song was composed in 12/8 which is a quaternary measure just like 4/4.
If you're going to post stuff on YT then get the facts correct. This mix was commissioned by Rob Bonet in 1998 to coincide with Grease's 20th anniversary & it's by Victor Colderone. It was played to me at the Dorchester Hotel by Rob himself & he telephoned Victor up & I gave my opinion to him over the phone on the various mixes of the song that he had done & TBH when I wasn't particularly full of praise. I wasn't being rude, it's just that none of his mixes worked IMO & would not be played in clubs at the time. His mixes were far to heavy & tribal & not all all commercial.
Out of curiosity, what do you think of this mix? I always liked it, but felt it need something more. It feels lacking and a bit repetitive. It's great to dance to, but too many break down portions. And before the vocal kicks in, the breakdown is mis-timed with the start of the vocal. But given what had to be done, it's impressive.
