Saddened to hear about Olivia Newton-John's passing, it made me think back to her concert at Royal Albert Hall in 2013. My friend and I had a side view from the stalls that made Olivia seem embraced by the Hall's timeless architecture, its seats filled to the rafters with adoring fans.
Ms Newton-John and her band gave a terrific show. Her voice crystal clear. Her presence powerful and resilient.
She talked about her battle with cancer and how she set her mind to dealing with this in the most positive way. She learnt to regard herself as a survivor.
I believe she has been an incredible inspiration to others. It was a privilege to be a part of this show on March 13, 2013. This is one of my favourites she sang that night. 'Sam'.
