While I was in the Marines, I had the honor to see her live in concert in San Diego in 1982. She was pint sized, but had a voice that sent chills down your spine. She was absolutely beautiful and will continue to live in our hearts. Such a sweetheart. We love you, Olivia.
Country Roads have taken you home now my love, rest in peace Olivia, can't stop crying, my heart hurts so much because you're gone, but now my Angel on earth, you're in heaven and not suffering anymore 💔
Another sad loss to the make the world a poorer place. After a long long battle against breast cancer sadly this princess lost that fight.May you now find the peace you deserve,I will always remember you for Banks of the Ohio.Rest in peace angel.
I was born and raised in West Virginia and live here now, watching and listening to her sing this song, and knowing she’s gone, makes me so sad, as the song says, tear drops in my eyes.
what a fantastic voice I wish she would have recorded a lot more of these type of songs she has the perfect voice for it. I have been a fan since 1973 and never tire of hearing her voice
Because of people like ONJ, I hate the universe for myself being born in 90's and unable to appreciate development of talents like her in real time. Since I first heard her music a year ago, I have soft knees with every single replay, and watched hours and hours of interviews with her - what a gem she was. RIP Olivia and thank you!
From the U.Ks Top of the Pops, originally broadcast in colour, sadly the original footage shot on 2 inch tape was erased along with hundreds of priceless editions, BBC management were and still are known for their incompetence.
She is going to be missed by the world she was lovely and a very beautiful woman and a very beautiful song with love from her heart to the world ❤️💋💙❤️💗💙
"Totally Hot" was the last album that I bought from Olivia, who was my "pure goddess" from 1971 till 1980. I saw her in concerts several times, and I actually spoke to her in her Malibu Store back in 1978. She was truly nice, and was not at all put out by telling her that I was a fan, but not crazy. She just laughed. I hope that she fully recovers. There are no "Ladies" in music anymore. The trashier, the better.
She owned this shit!! ONJ fan for as long as I can remember. Not going to say she is the "best" singer ever. But, my ears and eyes and particularly suited to ONJ and her brand of music, at that time and even today.
This song puts me in mind of 'Winter's Bone' which is kind of ironic as Olivia was the first girl I ever 'fancied' before I discovered the amazingly talented Jennifer Lawrence, the greatest actress of all time as well as being the most beautiful woman on the planet
Lawrence is a typical liberal political hack who tried to claim that a Hurricane was some kind of mother nature reprisal. How you would like anybody like that Is beyond me. Could you imagine a republican celebrity saying something similar and getting away with it.
Dare I say I may remember this edition of TOTP because if that transmission date is correct then it was my 15th Birthday and I was an avid TOTP fan then
