the funny thing is a lot of east asian people basically have different genes that prevent their sweat from undergoing the chemical process on our skin that creates the odor and bacteria. if you remember them mentioning apocrine sweat glands, that's what they were talking about. so it's not that she necessarily stinks that much, but compared to them (whose armpits don't produce that type of underarm smell), they think she stinks a lot
There was a mobile game where you shoot viruses floating in the air around you and it was my fav game at that time. The time where no Play Store ever existed, the time where mobile phones still have numeral buttons on them.
@@hanisu93 Yes, I miss old Nokia games too. I played Agent V on my friends phone, so I have a lot great memories with this game. Besides, I love another Nokia's old game, Space impact. Sadly, it's very difficult to search those games again.
funny thing about this is that Olivia, due to her foreigner genes, inherited the bad body odor that most asians don't have (asians also have dry earwax!). western people have the gene that codes for the wet-type earwax and normal body odor but asians have the gene with the dry-type earwax and a reduction in body odor. this is why olivia's armpits are such a thing around the japanese school, and also deodorant is not as popular in japan bc of the same thing, this might be the reason why she doesn't use any as she was raised with japanese hygiene mentality but having a western body odor.
i dont think they actually smell that bad. it's just that genetically many east asians do not have the gene that causes sweat to stink when it mixes with bacteria on the skin. so to them, she stinks, but it's just normal BO if you sniffed anyone's armpit who wasn't east asian lol
