Well, I must be a weird one then. Back story...i lost my hair from chemo. I hate hats, so I thought I'd try scarves. My hair hasn't grown back well. Lots of bare spots. I searched the internet and found Miss Andrea and Wrapunzel and the regal wrap. The rest, as they say, is history. It's so easy. By a WEEK I was wowing my co workers, both women AND men. I was just a natural at wrapping. I even amazed my Muslim friends! My wraps were simple one day and elaborate the next. I have become known for my head wraps. Many people compliment me on them wherever I go. I have tons of NYBs, MANY LSBs, 15+petal scarves. I can't count all my 2in1s and tough 2in1s. I have a beautiful storage system as well.
Thank you, I love head wrapping, stubbled across it on FB - decided to try - have very long hair - great in the winter - my fur coat, but summer I hate my hair being down - when I saw this I thought this is the answer! I have been watching everything I can find and playing with multiple wraps and decorating and I absolutely love this. I also have been sharing Wrapunzel with my friends who are dealing with cancer who are struggling with hair loss to help them look and feel better!
i am thankful for this video, Wrapunzel also changed my life. I am not muslim, not a cancer SURVIVOR, but my hair was gray and thinning as I got older. I did not want to perm it or color it as it was getting thinner. One day I saw Andrea's video on you tube and it changed MY LIFE> I ordered my supplies, started a you tube playlist of tutorials and started wearing them turbans to WORK....at first on Friday's only. Since I am in a office, I was not sure, how leadership would respond as I am not Muslim of Jewish. BUT no one said anything, I guess they can't legally BUT...off I went. NOW I wear them often and I'm so thankful!!! I color my hair occasionally but I have OPTIONS and it is less damaging on my natural hair.
HAPPYTOWN LEADSTOMYHOME I’m glad I came across your comment. I’m a beginner wrap user and have a problem(my own I’m afraid)of people talking behind my back because I love to wear wraps and have no reason to in other words I’m not a cancer survivor or s Jewish or Muslim. How do I overcome my own insecurities on wearing wraps?? Oh, my hair is short and gray.

HAPPYTOWN LEADSTOMYHOME thank you so very much!! I’m also older 74 to be exact so I’m know exactly what you mean! I am going to start wearing scarfs just as you suggested. Thanks for all your input, it was very helpful 😘😘
@@thatmarionchickonyoutube7545 i saw your comment and wanted to assure you that you dont have to have a reason to wrap and its not offensive to other cultures or religions. To me wrapping is about beauty and expression. I used to wear wigs everyday for yrs but they gave me headaches. I found wrapping and just started doing it after watching videos. I live in very rural missouri and ive never had anything but compliments for the last 7yrs. All my patients ask for me by "the nurse with the pretty head wraps". When you go to work daily and get compliments it makes you feel beautiful. Ive had pts ask if its for religious reasons and i just politely tell them with a smile, its just my thang. I had a coworker from Liberia give me a scarf from her home country and she said she enjoyed seeing my head wraps as they reminded her of home. Dont worry about ehat others say and dont be self conscious. You do you hun.
Totally agree on the essential scarf picks. I love simple square scarves and I adore the Petalsoft scarves and the jersey scarves. They wrap beautifully and the Petalsoft are so light. Thank you for the great video! As a series topic, I’ve love to see something on how to care for different types of scarves. For example, I’ve learned that I need to lightly iron my jersey scarves after I wash them to keep them from shrinking up.
Maiden Minnesota that’s a very good response and I think you’re absolutely correct! So I live in the very southern state of Louisiana and most southerners don’t really care in fact you know a lot wear pj bottoms to Walmart(no, not me)LOL I’m going to do it, wrap not wear pjs to WM 🤣🤣

Excellent video! Thank you for posting. I have a question. Is there a wrapping style/look that is more conducive to mask wearing? I've decided to start wrapping my hair, but I need to be able to easily access my ears so that I can wear my mask at work. Suggestions/modifications most welcome!
Can you tell me what the name of the wrap is that you have in the video? Or a message i can see how to do it? I like the simple back wrap. Thank you, for any help
i wished too olivia, it was so overwhelming with all scarfs out and i tried so many before i got enough money to get my wrapunzel, and i love the Israelis tichels, the two and ones are nice for summer time , wrapunzel we need to get her some of the other colours of the petal soft like she wants :) i don't own a cranberry because the colour of saffron doesn't look right on me, yellow undertone skin that becomes dark in summer and light in winter to almost bone white it just doesn't look right but then again i am a colour girl :) send me a purple or fushia pink and i am always on board heehee ☺ i just giggled when you said scarfs aren't pokemon we dont have to collect them all, but wrapunzel scarfs are sooooooooooo pretty!!!!
