Hi, nice video. From my side I’m currently struggling with handle pass when I try 36. It would be great to see video with common mistakes and how to properly do that handle passes. I really enjoy your videos, greetings from Poland !
Nice vid! A tutorial on air tricks would be really cool! I'm trying an air backroll but struggling to get my head around the load and release ! I'm regular and my local park is a anti clockwise cable if that makes a difference?
JB ONeill my olly is poor :) need to improve, keep catching up back edge on olly to blind. Can see on my insta @don.17. And olly to side of rail looks sick man 🤙
Super cool. Thanks for these tips. I'm already hyped to try them out on the water 😁 Do you have tips for the back roll? I struggled a lot to get out of the water last year but would really love to master it this season
@@jboneill Well tantrum (off the kicker) works out just fine. But I'm failing at getting out of the water... If you would have time to make a video on the back roll, I would be super stocked. Keep up the great work and crazy tricks 😁
Hi JB, great tutorial! Very helpful! I ve got a question. Could a bigger board make higher Ollie's? I have a 143, and I had tried a 145 with less rocker. With the same ollie technic I have done a much higher ollie. Keep doing this tutorials!!
Great videos brother, keep them coming! Im going to a cable park for the first time ever, also havnt wakeboarded in 25 years. I have only wakeboarded maybe 3 or 4 times a very long time ago off the back of a jet ski but Im so stoked to hit this cable park tomorrow, Shark Wake Park 561. Do you have any tips or suggestions for me? I cant believe how far wakeboards and bindings have come, so sick! Thanks in advance brother and Im totally stoked to go out there tomorrow and shred it up!
@@jboneill My 1st cable sesh ever went awesome today brother! My first attempt on a sitting start, which your video really helped me with that, worked and I went around the slower side 3 times before letting go of the cable. It was great getting my feet wet again wakeboarding and cant wait to go back. I didnt hit all the features, only the kicker, but got some nice air with a small tail grab, again from your videos. I was really surprised on hitting the first corner and what happens in them but still made it around all of them, for 3 full go arounds. Thanks for the knowledge and spreading the stoke dude! Keep it up!
Long time no new Ollie vid, great job JB! Two things: you're talking about bringing the front as high as possible, but what it does is digging the tail deeper in water making the pop higher. Am I getting this right? I guess it's the same stuff just two different approach. And can you give a few tips ollieing onto rails with not nose but the tail into backslide?
If you would find a willing beginner and show them progressing through the skills would be pretty cool 🤙 probably make a good fail video to.😆😜 But that thrill / reaction when they first stick the trick would probably make a good video.
Well done! JB, could you give some advice about ts ollie on obstacles from side into frontside boardslide (like 4:06)? It's so weird feel when the rope pulls me back... (
in this situation, not really pulling the rope much, but I will make a tutorial in the future about loaded ollies, where basically you use the tension and edging to make your ollie about 3 times higher than the ollie in this video.
This might seem a bit lame.... but, like myself, and potentially a few of your viewers... we don't have access to a BA wakeboarding boat. Can you do a tutorial on getting more pop off of the wake of a regular boat. I have access to a couple of ski boats.... I can jump wake to wake BUT, I do not feel like I am getting too high. I am more of just pounding the wake and flying across it. Thank you!
Hi JB. Do you have a similar tutorial for doing an Ollie ON plastic. Like to step up from one rail to another etc? Or even just to get height coming off the end of a box to allow more time for a 360 out and that sort of thing?
hi! now all switching to bigger boards 150 156 so im thinking how larger board effects on ollie? (at this moments im riding LF peak 141, im 195 lbs and 6.4 feet
hey i am trying a toeside ollie over a small kicker and i’m having troubles keeping my ollie consistent, i feel like i need to take a hard edge to whip me over the kicker but it’s really hard to ollie off an edge, any help would be appreciated, thank you.
@@jboneill Into my second season/year of Cable Riding. Your Trick Videos are so awesome and brilliant to learn from. Landed my first ever back roll this week. Super Stocked for the rest of this Summer's riding. Thanks maan!! Will bee refering back to these videos constantly for sure!! Take it easy... Thanks Again. Diolch! (Pembrokeshire Wake Park) Wales. Hi JB. It's seems your pushing both foot done to make the wave instead the only the back. I'm been trying only the back foot and the same time pull up the front but what you did its seems both in the same time. Looks easier. Am I saw well ? I'll try tomorrow ✌ peace bro
@@jboneill Thanks JB. I've seen the groms heading toward the cable onto the pipe quickly load the line to increase height. Also because their approach is from in front of then alongside the pipe.
Hi JB, Sincerely appreciate your advise on this. At the 0:47 You mentioned to push down the board. 1) Do you only push down with the front foot first then push down the back? Or Do you push both feet down and then the back foot to pop the board? Thanks for uploading vids like this and the other tutorial vids for ppl all around the world to understand.
i mainly push the front foot, but also slightly on the back. I think maybe go out there and find the best way for you on this situation. I think the release is the most important part by making sure to pull the front foot up first so that you dont get any suction.
It is actually possible to stand with both feet on the nose (hang 10) and the board will not submerge/nosedive , so it would be nearly impossible to nosedive by just pushing down
