Today I had a plenty of time. So, created this slideshow to tell a story about Olonkho.
As I wrote in one of my blog posts, the Yakutia-based artist Timofei Stepanov (he passed away, unfortunately) had a great gift to illustrate Olonkho, the Sakha heroic epos, in one painting. And, one piece contained many small stories. That's why he was called the Olonkho story-teller in the fine arts.
To show those mini plots, I took many photographs of different parts/fragments of a painting.
Praise god, there is another great person named Albina Degtyareva, a founder of the famous Siberian female ensemle "Ayarkhaan". Once she sang a song dedicated to her daughters. Actually, it was a song about kids and her mother's love. But it came so good with the slideshow.
Song is called "My Heart" ("Мое сердце" / "Сурэ5им"). Album: Sounds From The Ancient Land Olonkho.
