You have very little knowledge of the oduduwa culture. Sango is from ife. The sango you refer to is Abiodun who became oloyo ti Oyo, that stay in the land of Tapa, he acquired the power of Sango and Ara from Ile ife. He reigned about 200 years ago. Oyo till today is about 600 year old formed by Prince Oramiyan, who later became the six Ooni, He formed the kingship of Ado, which is called Benin, I meant the the Youruba part which Oba of Benin not the Igogomigo. After Benin he formed Oyo ile which was some where in Niger State beside Tapa people. Oramiyan married a Tapa princess and had 2 sons Abiodun aka Sango was one. Tapa own Oya also from Ife. Ife had being around for over 20.000 years ago. Hope this is useful. Sango and oraa ife is still in ife not Oyo, Abiodun only made it popular. Sango spirit can be invoke by anybody and it will work for you.
