Olori Aderonke founded Africa Fashion Week London. It is one of the largest annual fashion events in the UK, which supports the work of designers with African fashion designers and designs.
More than 70,000 people attend Africa Fashion Week London every year and it features more than 1000 designers and exhibitors from Africa and the global diaspora.
To connect with young African designers from all over the continent who can't afford the logistics of going to London to display their work, she established a sister event in Nigeria, Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, in 2014.
She co-founded the QMA international initiative with His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the King of Ife Kingdom, and was appointed the Queen Moremi Legacy's global ambassador in 2017.
QMA Cultural Based Leadership Pageant is Not a Beauty Pageant! Its An Examination of Leadership Development through Culture.

Nigeria women need more than showcasing culture, they want someone who can advocate for them and who really understand what they are going through. It's not about parting. It's about helping poor women in our society those that are poor and vulnerable. If you truly care about Nigeria women channel your resources to those women who have notting to feed their children, those that are abused, the elderly and vulnerable in our society.

She's not that young. She's in her fifties that's why she's so much grounded in our culture. In fact she's among the few who are still protecting and portraying the Yoruba culture and values.

@@godwinejiofor8064 I am African and Nigeria precisely. Nigerian women love fake wig, their emulating someone look , instead embracing their natural giving beauty, wig phenomenal in American black Culture, came as symbols of oppression. Because European American put mechanism in place, to destroyed them,to make them turn their back to their African root. To broke the African American Spirit.

You waited this far to be a queen 🤣. Huum! At your age. So there's no man in London or your town to ask your hand in marriage? You have been living in the palace and the oba go outside and marry different women. Is this the culture? Promoting ur heritage is a job and duty of all adorable Yoruba person who admires and adores his or her culture. But not to sit down there and said until the oba marries you. This is so sad. Very well you are one of those who never wish the oba to have a stable marriage 🤣. Ha mama what a life. And we heard that she's even older than the monarch. Ha Yoruba e to ba aye he o.
