35 years ago when I was just five years in the village, I don't even know the meaning but my father ( blessed memory) will be singing all the songs, three of us grew up singing songs by Daddy Niyi am not a Yoruba man but I love all his songs.
I was a child when this song came out. Being a child that I was I was initially appalled by the song until I grew older and understood the rationale behind the song. It is a classic ! I’m a proud Ijesha man 😂
Personally I've had to suffer, in and out of the country, for the great price the Lord paid by His most precious blood on the cross of Calvary to save sinners from the grip of Satan.Trully, it could be painful, yet highly rewarding here in the world and hereafter. Baba Adedokun, I wish to see you face-to-face one lovely day; then I shall be able to tell you how much you've imparted my life...bless you richly Sir.
Your comment gets me everytime I watch this video I am a young guy in my early twenties and this song as always been impactful to my life May God continue to bless us
It's so wonderful to hear and watch these vids again . I can't remember watching when the song came out. But I remembered we had the cassette then. God will bless you Sir for using your talent to win souls, admonishing us as children of God. We will not be found missing in His kingdom Amen
