It may not have. Last year, they sold a 5288 at that same auction for $12000 and they power polished it and took it to the East Central Auction and got $21000. Paint can make a big difference...
Another well-done summary of the auction. Thanks! I got in on some buys but they were off-site. No bargains but fun nonetheless. Is that you playing fiddle tunes in the soundtrack over the first half the video? Nice tunes and nice playing, whoever it was.
G day Ty Boy 350 was reasonable, did it run? Did u get? Allis B brought good dollar! JD 70 was reasonable That Cockshutt 1350, about same size as SW-6, {L would have liked to have one of them yrs ago U guys seem to have more circular saws out there than we do. Mennonite neighbours all had wood stoves, got away from it & now sell firewood. 75 & higher / cord Ths
We didn't get the 350. Have other priorities. We have a lot of wood here and a lot of people burning it. We got electricity later than Southern Ontario and therefore up to the 1950s and early 1960s, many farmers had to live off grid. Now off grid is getting popular again. Thanks so much for watching.
