Olu Fajemirokun is very good friend in the early 80s, in Papa Ajao area where I was living then. He was the one that played when I have my twins then 8 days. He played free without kobo from me. Very humble, generous and friendly. You may not remembered me again. But we knew ourselves very well. I lived very close to Baba Commander house in Papa Ajao in those days

Uncle Olu Fajemirokun, it's been a long time. He was dating one of my besties in 1992 and both were coming to my house for visits. And i was having a good time at Skindles Club on Ojuelegba Rd on Fridays where he used to have his Friday shows. Good man and loves my children then. I live in New Jersey now.

I met this man some years ago at a party in Maryland. As soon as I entered the hall, I saw him singing and I knew him right away it was him. He sang the same way he used to sing and the whole hall erupted.

I really enjoyed this interview. Olú Fajemirokun is a comple gentleman. Very honest with his responses, just like baba Adedara Arihunraloja, Feyisara ( former drum set player for Lagbaja) & Apola king. May the soul of Dayo Kujore rest in peace. Every Juju musician you have interviewed attested to his prowess on guitars, not to mention his sonorous voice. Agbaletu keep it up.

Olu Fajemirokun left Nigeria when he was really making waves, He won best juju artist in Nigeria music award in the year 1992 with juju Samba, defeating Shina Peters Dancing Time and Dele Taiwo Magic Moment.I love his obey style of music due to his fast tempo heavy transitional percussion(Omole,Bata,Conga)

@@boluwajiolalekan4173 lol. You are the liar here or maybe your brain is failing you due to old age. Dancing time was weak. Ask people to na, Shina's 89 and early 90s album, it will be Ace, Shinamania, and Experience. Dancing time didn't make the cut.

Don’t mind Shina Peter. He was sarcastic with some of his statements during the interview. Shina is a great musician no doubt and I love him to high heavens but a display of immaturity is which was evident in his early years is still very much with him. You can see simplicity and humility in Olu Fajemirokun (even thought I’m not much of his fans as I am for SSP)
