I posted an ad to sell 2 patient examination couches i immediately started receiving sms from OLX that you are in touch with suspicious numbers i received a call almost immediately the person who called told me he wanted to buy my couch at the stated price ... no bargaining , and that he wanted to close the deal immediately he asked me to share my location ... which i did (but i was on the road ... not actual location 😁) Next he asked me how i would like the payment ... i said cash he then said he will pay me on Gpay as it is faster ... i agreed He said i will receive a call from another number and i should pick (while this call was on) .... i didn't he then cut the call abruptly again called me from another number ... i didn't pick he called back from the 1st number (i picked) and again requested me to open my g pay account and check the balance b4 he makes me the payment i said, i find him suspicious he abused me 4 wasting his time and cut the phone it is so easy to protect yourself because of all the fantastic work done by you tubers like Sartaz, Jim Browning, Scambaiter, Scammer Payback, Karl Rock .... God Bless them

I am happy to share my experience with me yesterday, person tried to cheat on the ad of my cycle in olx. He sent me a request of payment through cashify. My presence of mind and experience from watching youtube videos worked that moment.

Sir muje OLX user naam ke aadmi ka call aaya tha aur vo fauji hu karke bola tha. Usko kaha ki aap fauji Ho to what's app video call pe baat karo. Usne nahi kara aur bina wajah OLX se OTP aa raha tha aur wo OTP mang rha tha. Shayad wo mera OLX account hack kar raha tha. Mai saavdhan Ho gya tha. Dhanywaad aisa live experience share karne ke liye.

Ek baar maine OLX pe Rtr 160cc ki bike dekhi jiska price tha 30000 rupay phir maine us par number pr call kiya to wo boola ki ami Lucknow Army center se baat kr raha hu or mera transfer ho ho gaya hai isliye mai bike ko sel kar raha huu ,chir maine kaha ki mughe kaya kena hoga to usne kaha pahle aapko corrior change 3500 dena hoga mai aapko qr code send kr raha huu or phir mere 3500 mere account se kat gay

Never answer if a phone call is not from your area code. Resist temptation. If they leave a message saying you will be arrested or you lost your Amazon/Ebay package, you know it's a scam

Mne num true caller pe check kiya toh.....alag alag state k hai num aise show hota hai.... Or kuch toh active hote hai call line pe.....

It happened with me also. Us bande ne QR code bhej diya mujhe. Mai bhi ek baar ko confuse ho gya tha.. Ki yaar payment krne k liye QR code scan krte h na ki payment lene k liye.. Aur mane vo scan ni kiya.. Nahi to mere bhi us din 50000 rpy free me chale jaate.

Web site se house shift kerne wali company ka phone number lekar use phone kiya. Tab usne 12000 me sitamarhi bihar se ghar ka saman nawada nohar le jane ka charge negotiate kerke fix kiya. Kaha ki 5000 rupaya advance psy karo tabhee ayenge. Rd 5000 pay kerne ke bad, jab gadi nahin ayee tab, bola ki deal cancel ker dete gayee hai aur rupaya wapas kar diya jayega, Lekin fir rupaya wapas nahin kiya. Baad me call kerne par phone disconnect jo jata tha.
