It looks like they’re only running 2 trains here. I’d love to see the same view during 5 train ops.

Yeah same, but it seems in 2021 there wasn't enough riders to warrant the 5 cars being out anywhere, which is a shame.

@@FunfairWorldwide I know :( I imagine it's a very fast pace room with the operators maintaining very high focus and very efficient operations. It's great to see the block zone indicators lighting up and following the train through the course. It's amazing how a compact ride like Olympia has 9 block zones. I hope one day to get to watch Olympia run 5 trains in person!

It seems like "Startbereit" (ready to start) lights up as soon as the "Auffahrt 1" (lift 1) block is clear, even if the lapbars are still up and/or the loading gates are still open. It should really only light up once the bars are sufficiently far down and the gates are closed. Interlocks like this are basic coaster safety.

This dude is more worried about hanging out and talking instead of running this ride faster

They're running two trains. When that's the case, you need to wait for the other one to get back before dispatching the one in the station. Olympia Looping is designed to run five.

Kind of, but he's also paid to ensure the safety of all riders, respond to the system if it goes into a problem, know where trains are at all times, load trains onto and off the track, ensure platformers are giving the correct signals, know how to shut down the ride, how to start it up etc. It's not just pressing a button, also under UK law, the rides operator can be held accountable if theres an accident proven to be by their negligence. As a former rides op, i can tell you, it's not an easy job.
