Olympic Breakdancer, Raygun Becomes A Meme Legend, But Was She Really Trolling? 

PhDs tend to value theory over practice. For a discipline such as breakdancing, which comes from the streets and prefers to stay there, I sincerely doubt a PhD has any value.

The IOC announced back in 2022 that Breakdancing would not be included in the LA Games. I agree that her Breakdancing wasn't that good. She made people smile though..

Agreed 100%. Her thesis was absolutely abysmal. And I spent a good two hours on it because I didn't want to be biased. That piece of work contributes little to absolutely zero value and her final conclusion section states "I view breaking practice, including that of my own and my peers, as rich with possibilities and potential transformations that I leave open and looking outward." As someone who has written a thesis, THAT conclusion in itself is the problem of choosing a topic too abstract or, dare I say the truth, self-centered. She created a niche so small that made it possible for her to be called an "expert." Shame on whoever advised her that her topic was worthy of a PhD. However, I will give her credit for some critical skills that went into it -- not that it is enough to remedy the mistake.

I don’t see how it’s any different from something like diving, gymnastics, figure skating, or skateboarding. All involve aesthetic/artistic expression combined with technical skill, requiring excellent physical fitness and control of the body.

to be honest it is harder then what raygun did there, this is a insult for break dancing at all and a insult for everyone who has the real skills of break dancing. What a shame, she had no originality because she never breakdanced you cant have original moves when you do not dance the dance itself. Will be the same if you have 0 talent for painting or singing but say "it is my originality" does not matter if you cant sing or do anything else that belong to the category you try to step a foot inside.

to be honest, real breakdancing is hard and is looking awesome but not what this clown did there. This isthe time where weak and woke people lead everyone else to harder times. Imagine your House get build this way or your car get repaired this way or a doctor act this way and will cause alot of damage, this is serious danger already we're in.
