Her performance reminded me of those folks on American Idol who think they are amazing singers and are just horrible.

i do not believe for one second that she was actually the best. I read a lot of comments on other videos lol and people say she was the only one who could pass a drug test, her routine should be saved for an office party where everyone is drinking

Lack of skill is the reason for her horrendous performance. The Olympic standards have clearly dropped.

I understand your frustration about the perceived drop in Olympic standards. It’s clear that skill and high-level performance are crucial for maintaining the integrity of the Games

Sounds like some American idol try outs.

the olympics is about fun, but it is also about showcasing the VERY BEST skill in the specified event the athlete is participating in. There is a reason the olympic athletes have to train for years in order to compete. I read some other comments and people mention events like ski jumping. The pathetic and painfully bad performance raygunn put on could have been done by anyone on the street. You think some random dude can just hop on the specialized skis for the sport and fly down a hill and reach speeds of over 150km and then fly through the air and then they have to land. They are not even comparable. She made a mockery of "break dancing?", because i have watched true athletes like bboy junior perform and its stunning and your amazed by how someone can do what they are doing. She was only selected because she wrote a paper on how hard it was being a woman in the break dancing world which is pretty pathetic in my mind. You are either good at something or you are not, shes an embarrassment to australia and she embarrassed the entire country and the committee who stood by her as the best break dancer in australia should be at the hague being charged with crimes against humanity. She performed a grade 6 interpretive dance routine conveying aspects of australia that make it unique at best.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I agree that the Olympics are about showcasing the highest level of skill, and athletes invest years of training to reach that level.

I completly disagree with everything that is said in this clip. Another viewpoint has to be what the founder of the new olympic games stated: “The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning but taking part; the essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well.” - Pierre de Coubertin (primarily responsible for the revival of the Olympic Games in 1894) The video should check other athlethes that were praised to participate well knowing that there would be no chance of winning like the british Ski Jumper Eddie the eagle that finished last "Eddie always says that just getting to the Olympics was his Gold Medal which epitomises the true Olympic Spirit."

I disagree, you go to the Olympics to win.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! I understand and respect your viewpoint on the Olympic spirit, as highlighted by Pierre de Coubertin and Eddie the Eagle. While my video focused on another aspect, I also strongly believe that if you're going to the Olympics, it’s important to aim for a strong performance and to strive for victory. I appreciate the chance to discuss these different viewpoints!+ Thank you for staying respectful while expressing your opinion

As terrible as rayguns performance was, it’s also embarrassing to see you hopping on the bandwagon to try to get some views for your channel. All you said is “maybe this or that happened” which shows you don’t know what actually happened. She actually won the qualifying breaking battle to represent Australia at the Olympics and she’s been in the scene for years. Whether or not the best bgirls in Australia entered that battle is another question. Try doing some more research before releasing a video next time.

she did not actually participate because she was only there to do an easy paper and get a phd

I understand your opinion and appreciate your feedback. On this channel, I share my personal views and insights on topics that interest me, like K-pop, anime, and K-dramas. I don’t aim to simply jump on trends for views; rather, I discuss subjects I find compelling. I’ll keep your comments in mind and strive to improve my research and content. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

@@Go4Broke247 so what? if she is speaking in another language that is not her native language and people who are native speakers of the language watch the video they are allowed to comment on it. She does say some thing that makes me thing she listens to some ghetto people when learning english like saying other as "utter"
