fruityxoxo1991 - as a Brit, I love him for his bone dry, sarcastic humour. I know he's in good hands here with James and Dan being British, but I love watching Taylor freak out Americans in interviews who just don't get it! I remember seeing a Battleship interview he gave with Peter Berg, and Taylor giving a typically sarcastic reply to a dumb question, this time about Rihanna. Berg didn't get it though and kept flogging the gag long after it had died, and Taylor just sat there, cringing for his mate to shut up. I've noticed how Americans sometimes just don't understand the subtle layers of sarcasm, so tend to have a sledgehammer approach which ends up being really excruciating. It's hilarious. Our two countries however have at least three things in common - our love of sports - you guys have a bloody good rugby union side - the outdoors, and our piss taking, left field humour. ;) Makes schadenfreude much more enjoyable XD! And yeah, Taylor may live in Austin, Texas - probably because it's quirky, eclectic and reminds him of home - but he will always be a proud Canadian. Good on him! My brother visited your gorgeous country a while ago, and said his mind was just blown away, not only being surrounded by such breathtaking natural beauty, but also that he could totally relax and be himself around you guys. Go the UK and Canada in this year's Winter Olympics!!

Judi O'Regan and you both honor Queens. Brits however have great humor sometimes and other times it's really not funny. That's where Brits and Americans are similar; sometimes the humor is really funny and other times it's just stupid and not funny. Both Brits and Americans get huffy, however, when people don't laugh or they immediately defend that their humor is too "above" the intelligence of the people who didn't laugh. Some Brits like and understand American humor, some Americans like and understand British humor. Never understood why there was such a pissing contest regarding humor, when it's entirely subjective.

Judi O'Regan why must you insult people (indirectly or directly) with your comments? Why can't you just say, "wow Canada and Brits are similar, how cool!!!" without throwing another country under the bus. Sometimes Brits aren't as funny as they think they are and sometimes their humor isn't "over people's heads", it's just stupid. I said the same could be said for American humor as some of it's good and some of it's stupid. Definitely seen more Brits accusing people (not just Americans) of not "getting" their humor when it's not much different from any other country's humor. Just making a point that British humor isn't some complex form of humor only some people get, but it ranges from weird/stupid to witty just like any other humor. I'm from Chile, by the way.

I remember in my gym class we went to do curling and i was like wtf is this HAHAHA. :-P but i was so amazed by the whole sport. Tbh i think its awesome!

Pretty much. I’ve never even heard of curling before until this recent Olympics. Lol I’m a US citizen and curling is not that well known, especially if non sports people like myself have never even heard of it before
