You might call this one the Pacific Northwest version of the Kalalau Trail in Kauai, though less dangerous, intense, and humid. It's a fun and popular route that alternates between beautiful secluded beaches, and adventurous overland routes.

I just did this hike from South to North a few weeks ago (Feb. 2024) It looks like some of the ladders and bridges have been improved, but be prepared to be wet most of the time! Some of the rope climbs and descents were very muddy.

It is Not To-leek point. It is pronounced, toe-Lee-AK” Point.

When we first hiked this route there was a road we could drive the first mile or so in 1974. I have backpacked this area more than a dozen times.

It's better to hike it from south to North because then you get past the worst tidally locked spot on the first day after that it's a breeze

The emotions while watching... Went to Washington coast over Thanksgiving when I was a kid I sure hope I can do something like this atleast once... I love your channel ❤️
