But THIS was the very OPPOSITE of anything that showed "tolerance". It showed a disgust and hatred for people of faith and of God Himself. They didn't even CONSIDER what this looked like? I am not Roman Catholic or Jewish, but I am a practicing Christian and am highly offended by this opening ceremony. It was diabolical! My husband and I went to see the painting of the Last Supper in Milan. We were so soul moved we wept. Now we weep with a combination sorry and anger. We have visited France twice, but now if I was given a fully paid holiday to France I would not go.
