That's cool, Ken. I like the variety of images you've captured... i've just bought an E-1 and i'm waiting for it to arrive. I also have an E-300 and was interested to see that you've shot the E-1 with manual glass. I do this on my 300 - adapted Takumars - but find that focusing can be a bit challenging given the quality of the 300's viewfinder. What's your experience of comparing the two cameras been? Lkd&Subd. All the best from New Zealand.
Hi, thanks for your comment, did you buy an E-1? Congrats! The viewfinder readability of the E300 and E1 is .... I honestly felt they were about the same. I also looked through some SLRs and felt the 4/3 was still too narrow. But hey, great camera. The E1 seemed to spit out more realistic colors. Enjoy. Message from Japan
@@Kennek123 I love my 300 - bought it new in 2006 - and so i baby it and it only comes out in the summertime. However, the E-1 can give me CCD winters and CCD at the beach (with weather-sealed glass), which is a good thing. Only thing wrong with it is that it's missing it's rubber eyepiece - hopefully there's somewhere in Japan that has 4/3 spares lying around in plastic bags? Cheers and have a great day - Jo.
I also have one for over 10 years and sometimes take it out when I feel like going vintage. Great filmlike colors and easy handling, because it only has the most practical switches and not all the bells and whistles of modern cameras. I also love my Zuiko 14-54 and (lovely) 50-200. It’s always worth the wait to see at the computer what’s been captured. Thanks for the pictures. Great🌞👍🏻
