The other athletes has an advantage over him because of the way his body is built. This guy is good. However, he's not built like a 100 meter runner. He needs to loose a few pounds and lift less weights.
What is a 100m sprinter support to look like? history has shown some of the best sprinters comes in different shapes an body type including his. I can list a few sprinters with similar built. Then there sprinters with no muscles like kim collins, adre degrasse & lemaitre who were all outstanding with different body types
I agree if Omanyala lost a few pounds of muscle he can be lighter yet more explosive. He used to play rugby. Powell can be somewhat heavier because he is taller so is the muscle proportion spreads out better. Omanyala is a smaller guy so too much muscle is going to slow him down. I'm not an expert however it's kind of obvious he's over muscled like Lean down concentrate primarily on speed can lift weights for power not necessarily to bulk up too much. Many can agree to disagree.
@@wakeupworld100 do you know that in proportion to Omanyala Usain Bolt was heavier? Bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman was 180cm 135kg 180/135 = 1.33. Noah Lyle's who's on the skinnier side is 180cm 70kg 180/70= 2.57. So the lower that number is, the bigger they are. With that let's see this Bolt was 195cm 94 kg 195/94= 2.07 Omanyala is 175cm 82kg 175/82= 2.13 So why would Omanyala look more muscular than Bolt? Because he's shorter Because he has a naturally wide waist Because he has a heavier upper body mass in proportion to Bolt who had bigger leg mass than his upper body. Harry Aikines who's 100kg+ ran his fastest time when he was at his biggest. Naturally-built muscle doesn't slow you down as long as you're training for speed while building it.
Wonderful race powerful start he would have done much better att the final 10m. That is where much imorovement is needed. As for the other guys in the lineup, omanyala has pocketed them. Well done
There is no message here....2 peeps [Miller and Coleman] ran sub 10 in the American trials and didn't make the team to paris......in Paris anything beyond 9.85 forget a medal.
