Lisa dancing at 1:24 and Edvin clapping along as well is the highlight of this whole video!!!! Love the friendship of Edvin supporting his friend best on his performance
Wow, he held that entire stage together himself with hardly any backup even amidst some audio difficulties, which is incredibly difficult to do with such an energetic song like this. Omar is freaking amazing. I think it's so insane how natural he appears in almost any setting. Such a genuine person, and really one of the most beautiful humans I've ever seen. Edvin is crazy talented and of course gorgeous as well- I'm so touched that they were able to form a strong and lasting bond as friends even through all the chaos and pressure that came with the mega success of Young Royals.
What do you think the audio issues were? I felt there was a bit of unease, but I can't pin-point what was wrong. Maybe he couldn't hear himself well enough? He was touching his in-ears a lot. And the back-up singers were barely audible? And he seemed a bit serious at the end??🧐 I am not knowledgeable enough but I'd like to understand better from someone who is.
I can't stop watching this! Omar sounded SOOO AMAZING! Those riffs and choices he made to make it his own! The production was so stellar too! Obsessed with the 1:01 moment. Reminds me so much of a Christina Aguilera riff. Of course, Edvyn clapping along is so adorable.

It was a bit painful to see him struggling with his IEM the entire performance but he did a good job of making the best of it and tried to put on a good show!
I think if I was in Omar's shoes, I would maybe be just a little embarrassed. I mean it's just a tad over the edge for him. I mean he's very, very good looking and I'm sure has a great body......he just does not have that kind of persona to perform that way. I wish I was his agent or mentor.
I think it might be a good thing you are not. Since half the job is supporting the act, building up the confidence that enables the act to excell as an artist. You don't criticise, or second guess, the artistic choices the artist make, you support them, and if necessary defend them, cause as a manager/agent it is not your job to control and order around the artist, but to facilitate and promote the artist's work. Sometimes, if say a record company wants the artist to go in a particular direction, would like a greatest hits album, or a promotor adds extra tour dates, the job gets really difficult. Cause the artist's wants may clash with contractual obligations, and then it is the manager's job to convey such realities to the artist - or obtain some kind of deal with the label or promotor. Like making two greatest hits albums instead of one, but including a few new tracks on both of them. Artists are first and foremost human beings. Yes, they have to be able to handle criticism - but that should not come from their manager/agent, who has chosen to work with the artist cause he/she believes in their artistic talent. Therefore the manager/agent should not distrust that talent by attempting to control and direct it, but trust that the talent knows who he/she is, and which artistic direction he/she would like to move. A good working relationship between an artist and an agent/manager depends on both of them respecting the other's expert knowledge and experience, and doesn't try to interfere with, or second guess, the other's work. Only if the artist should choose options that breached laws, or caused serious offence that could harm the artist's reputation long term, should the manager/agent intervene. But even then with great care and finess. Madonna and Lady Gaga are great examples of how controvercy can work in the artist's favour. As long as they believe in what they do, and maintain their integrity, they both retain and expand their artist credibility.
Six outta Ten - Sorry, its just not quite up to a ten standard... or ANY higher than a 5.5 or six at best/ Perhaps with MORE TRAINING Mainly more finely tuned dance skills, and vocal as well, he's REALLY lacking, theres more to it than good looks and a great outfit. I see someone with connections who hasn't really put the work in. Or at best, THINKS they put the work in when Althea have been doing it "rehearsing" everything with substandard instruction and development. The BEST THING THIS GUY Can Do Is FIRE EVERYONE AORUND HIM AND PAY! FOR THE RIGHT TRAINING.
