Omari Spellman has declared and chosen to remain in the 2018 NBA Draft. As a Redshirt Freshman Omari Spellman averaged 10.9 PPG and 8.0 RPG en route to a National Championship and BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Honors.
@@Ghettoroyalty212 Charles Barkley never stopped eating donuts and had a pretty solid career. But yeah most the time bulking up is good most guys come In the leage as twigs. You can guard 7 footers easier if you're undersized and bulky. Wcs is super skinny and fast, looney is good but a little undersized as a center. Spellman can be the big body guy and we will be just fine. Plus it's easy to lose weight gaining it is the real struggle
I agree, Trae is an obviousCurry comparison, Heurter draws Klay comparisons, but he adds a little more offensively I think. But Spellman is the most interesting pick. He is by far the best 3 pt shooter in terms of bigs. Not a great passer, but a high energy guy who can guard the rim. He seems like a more aggressive, less polished Al Horford with a more fluid shooting motion. I'm hype to say the least.
you'll love spellman. I followed him all through his career at Villanova. He was the man and in the nba, it will be no different. He was born to do this. Wish he was on the sixers. Enjoy him on the hawks.
I am a Nova fan and followed him since he came. Let me tell you, Omari was born to do this, *CLEARLY* . Extremely accurate with his 3 pt shooting, accurate shooter all around, really. And just an aggressive player. Great defender. I'm mad the Sixers didn't pick him up, but they never know what they're doing, so them not getting him wasn't a surprise. Enjoy him, Hawk fans.
MeSoHorny Jr. Milpsap 2.0 Draymond wish he could have this many tools and shoot like that. We need him on our Roster not gleague we don’t have any Centers currently this active on both ends and physical(rebound, off reb, block shots, can run the floor , old school post up and can pop out and spread the floor .He needs to be practice and playing against current hungry real pros . Him and Collins it’s a problem. If Lucas Noguierra can play for the Mavs then he can play with us.
For some reason reminds me of Antwan Jamison with a dash of Paul Millsap. JMO, I think this year overall will become a draft haul for Atlanta that hangs around to become a perennial Eastern Con powerhouse 2-3 yes from now. Could be sooner if our freed up capspace can Lewer in a star and a couple of role play veterans still near their prime to mentor these hit shooters.
This was a nice pick by Schelenk. I see him more as a glue guy. I dont see a starter. But i see more of our six man off the bench. But he seems to not just be a outside threat, he doesnt mind mixing it up on the inside to which is what we need as well.
ATL LIFE7 What up bro! You right! But i can see putting John Collins at center if we had to and putting him at the 4 spot. Either way.... Hawks need as much talent as they can get. LOL!!
