Great song! Great songwriting & great back round vocal arrangement. He can move & I love when she comes in at the end & they go off!! Shoulda been a bigger song
has it really been ten years? and I definitely agree...this used to give me crazy chills when it first came out! I used to bang this in the barracks when I was a young Marine serving my country! and I wasn't the only male Marine that blasted it either lol
2022 and my ass is still here listening to some classic 00s Omarion! Takes me back to being 18 and fresh out of high school lol. His music will never not be on my playlist! 😌
I've always hoped for Omarion to come back with this type of vibe.I personally believe this was the best sound for him - mid-tempo, smooth, soulful - it fitted his image and choreography perfectly. He always seemed to me to be switching his style up and nothing really stuck.Even today I think if he was to make some REAL R&B it would sell - I'd definitely buy it, but his material over the last 10 years just hasn't hit the spot.
Unfortunately if he didn't switch his style up and experiment...he probably wouldn't still be relevant today. Alot of singers who remained relegated to mid tempo ballads have come and gone and noone remembers them. Whatever happened to Elle Varner? Lol Imo, I think it really hasn't been his material that's been the problem because a few years ago he dropped care package and it was widely acclaimed and got considerable notice....but that's the thing, the buzz that album got he basically created himself. He's hasn't had the big promotion machine behind him since his first album. When he went independent, he was relying a little too much on his B2k fame to keep him relevant in R&B, but that generation of fans are well into their 30's by now. The landscape changed.
@@ohmy5502 Nah, Omarion actually dances from his head to toes. It's so smooth and effortless. So expressive. CB dances too hard and recycles the same moves. It's all over the place.
This one will never get old 💯 and I'm more than grateful to have been alive in this era of music straight up man these were the days I just can't stop reminiscing 💯🔥
brings back so many good memories, loved all the music during my high school years. and yes I learned the dance moves, I miss when music videos actually had dance moves in them.
The part when he says "the choice aint mine it's really up to you"...yasss!!! That's how ya know his momma raised him right! That's a grown man behavior hunty!!😄
Ydofoe and mask glasses and then we will probably get a mdkdpfl when you get ready smg I'm going through this one that was that can be there at your house gkcov VB and mask glasses are the only days and then we can have dinner with your mom and I can get ready smg to much time with your friends in the morning and then we have the best time ever and I think it's fine with you on my phone number as well as the first time we had udid financing tdmpd and then get the chance and mask glasses are not ready to go to work on the other one that came back and forth on your side and then get the first time in my friend request to get back to DC Young fly. Bolly
Crazy how music's evolved. I was only 13 when this came out. Still as great of a track as it was back in the day. I'll always have an appreciation towards the R&B we were blessed with during the early 2000s.
He can sing. Quit hating on the man. Everyone think it’s easy until they get on stage and can’t hear themselves. He’s not the only singer to ever have a bad performance. I still rock with you Omarion.
This is heavily fixed. Omarion can't really don't. I'm not even talking about the Versuz alone. He use to have someone else sing his vocals, just like Jennifer Lopez did.
@@justforsocials226 He sung live to the songs using his own vocals. Steve was only in a few songs. He sung mostly in the background with RazB, Boog, and Fizz. Go look them up.
@@justforsocials226 he’s literally singing lead on this song. And singing with tank on the background, Having background vocals on your songs is normal…. Literally every singer does it even Whitney 🤦🏽♀️ and he can sing he’s just a decent singer😒 he doesn’t have to sing like Usher to be considered a singer. And you can’t compare him to Jlo because she’s not singing at all on her records lmao 💀
Remember when PSP first came out, this was the first video it came with. SONY did right with that one I literally use to watch this video over and over. ‘05 was definitely a lit year
Back here after Godfrey’s last Vlad interview lol. This was my favorite song in HS and the video solidified O as the greatest dancer of his time in my eyes as a teen. The footwork in this video is cray cray
I just want Omarion to be as great as his first album. I remember playing this entire CD all the way through. I was geeked when I went into the store to buy it.
They just don’t make music like this anymore. Today’s music is wack, I miss this music and these times. What happened to Omarion you had some fucking banger bro.
I wish I had a time machine so I could go back to when they made music you felt in your soul! This is a masterpiece I'll never forget the first time I heard this song. 🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤
Yo O, don't even trip about that Verzuz bruh you got this right here!!!! This mfkn song right here is eternal and the dancing was incredible. Mario wasn't making captivating videos like this. Like you really coulda just sat back and played this video. All you had to play was this and post to be and maybe 1 b2k joint and game over. #legend #omarionwon #verzuz
I always wondered why Omarion never became huge. His voice is amazing. The boy sure can dance. Good looking guy too. Somehow the world never noticed his talents......
Because he isn’t a writer. This was arguably one of his best songs but it was written by Tank! Touch was written by Pharell. Gotta be able to write to go far.
@@mopheaddigital989 Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Justin Timberlake, Brandy all didn’t write their music and went far. He just didn’t have good promotion and his songs sound to futuristic for a 2004 song. Like this whole album sounds ahead of its time.
@@mopheaddigital989 you are right, even the song called touch has pharell type of beat. Am also very sure brandy wrote the song called Work for him because you can hear her voice all over the background.
This song is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I can't lie Omarion did his thing when he made this song.congratulations Omarion on your mucis career.and god bless you as well.
Just recently found out R&B legend and writer TANK wrote this song! I can hear his background vocals on the chorus. Omarion should have stuck with this sound. ❤
No him and chris brown are still the best two dancers ever known to man other than MJ in my opinion 💯 but hey that's just me I mean the jabawockees are cool but chris and O will murder those guys if they had the time to throw something together which shouldn't take long 🤣😂🤧
