Use gel top coat but cure for only half the time, then put on the pigment. Finish the cure then dust off any extra and top coat, cure.

Yes for more pop of color you can cure for 25, but normally people cure for 30s. You do this over a no wipe top coat

You might be applying too much pressure when you top coat. Try having more product on the brush and float it over the nail. You can put top coat on thicker than regular gel polish.
