Beautiful design! I've seen this fabric used in a number of other projects and didn't think I liked it. However, you have really optimized the ombre' effect in this one. It's a winner! Can you use an ombré jelly roll to make this quilt or do you need to buy yardage?

This is a beautiful quilt, and great use of ombre fabric, but the amount of wasted fabric is horrifying! The pattern is good for new quilters, however it is easy to see slightly different ways of piecing that would use much less fabric.

It is 40deg C everyday for January.

How can I get the ombre fabric?

Nice. I think this design would be a little more pretty if it used ombre strips instead of white strips in the middle of the quilt. I'd get a linear quarter yard of my favourite of the colours to insert to the quilt. Or skip the sashing altogether :-)
