Rafal Borowski Omega has had a deal with the Bond franchise since 1995. It's product placement, but such a deal would have been unlikely with an inferor watch maker.

Keep in mind that he is not a native English speaker. I guess he must have thought that in English 'me' is always pronounced 'mee' but of course it isn't (think of 'megabyte' which is of course not pronounced 'meegabyte'). Note that the correct pronunciation in Europe is actually ususally considered to be OH-may-ga i.e. with the emphasis on the first syllable and the second syllable sounding more like 'may' not 'meh' (at least in German and French).
Yeah, the new anti-magnetic Omega sure is more original than Rolex. It's totally not Omega trying to one up Rolex's Milgauss. The colorful and playful second hand totally does not remind one of the one on the Milgauss.
The milguass has a 1,000 guass resistance and Omegas have a 15,000 Guass resistance there is no comparison the only reason Rolex is where it is is primarily due to the Roley on my wrist hypebeast culture it cultivated. People associate Rolex with success therefore everyone needs that. Also it suffers ps5 syndrome low stock high price couple that with some god tier marketing and ypu have Rolex. That doesn't mean to say that there shite just that Omega has better quality.
