Im curious. Whst is beating someone supposed to teach? Then a few days later call them your brother? Think its an opportunity to take advantage of a situation and power trip
@@coffey8653 actually they do use them now. I am also one of The Few and The Proud, and I can tell you we most certainly sang that running thru base housing with SgtMaj trying to wake the complex with our yelling.
You are both correct. Lampados began this after 24,000 African Americans, many Omega's, joined the Montford Point Marines 1942-1949. Even the Que Dawg pays homage to those Montford Point Marines. RQQ
The paddle doesn't teach a pledge nothing but fear. This type of punishment should have been outlawed years ago. But, when you are young, excited and impressionable, you will endure this type of punishment to belong. Pleasing the woman helps. I became an Omega man years ago. Would not go through that crap again.
It is outlawed as far as I know. All of the D9 organizations are against hazing and if they find out there is hazing your chapter will get expelled or suspended.
You're apparently speaking on what you don't know. This is Troy University (formerly Troy State) and it's not an HBCU. I know because I went there and also pledged AKA there. And probates--excuse me--new member presentations-- have always been for the public.
