I blame the dean of pledges. If they aren't ready, why send them out? They should have done a private probate show for just the members of their sorority, not the public.
I know all of these women personally, and this show still follows them to this day. They absolutely HATE it, because this is the only thing that they are KNOWN FOR. Their dean should take the responsibility for this. You are going to do, what you are taught PERIOD. If they were not show ready, they shouldn't have been brought out. As far as their ace, she has a disability, so this is why at time she seems "off". All of these women are sweet and loving individuals. Please know all of your facs before you bite their heads off.
+ShizukaRose I've talked to Omalola and Mallory, and that aren't upset anymore. They just don't like talking about it, or being reminded of it. This video should honestly be taken down.
+Alisha Davis In all seriousness, they weren't ready. The ace having a disability, I apologize for my previous comment then since I didn't know but that doesn't explain the rest of that line ruining their information. In Greekdom, I hope these ladies continue their rise from the ashes and keep working hard for that SGRho.
Regardless of how bad it was the crowd still supported them which makes me actually love this video. Not ideal because the old heads and their pros should’ve known better but I’m glad the crowd didn’t make them even more nervous by being rude.
As an Alpha man, I definitely dont wanna disrespect my greek fam, but COME ON!! Why would the oldheads allow this!? This is shameful. I'm embarrssed for these ladies.
C'mon big sisters. Don't let your girls ever come out (Probate) and they don't even have on the same jeans. Pledges usually mirror their makers. BS in BS out. I'm proud of and happy for the young ladies of SGRho, but their chapter sisters need to be put back on line for allowing to be unprepared for probate.
I gots to give to the school, I heard the Ques and my bruhs even though they our date wrong. They showed a lot of love for this line. This is an example of Greek which is the one thing I loved about this probate.
Ok. So the Ace has a disability. I caught that. It's definitely the DP fault. In my chapter, we don't pledge by height and that's what happened here. Just cause you're the shortest doesnt mean you're the Ace and meant to lead. This is what happens when you get pledges in the wrong position (disability or not). They should have put her in the middle...
Obviously, this chapter chose these women based on principles and not social status. The Ace seems to be challenged in some way, and kept up on her own rhythm, and stayed strong.
As some wise old heads once said: Blame the prophytes. I honestly had forgot about this video until recently. Even if you take it down, the aura of the show will haunt these young ladies for years to come and as previously mentioned, it was not their faults but the people who made them.
Honestly this is what being in greeks life is bout, supporting one another. I love the fact that the crowd was still showing support even though we can all agree this was not the best probate ever.
Cant blame the girls, they're going off of what was TAUGHT to them. Blame the ones who gave them the information and who were supposed to prep them. This is a good example of a rushed probate.
Girl I agree.. "If" this was the case, the probate should have been catered to her disability.. Instead of causing her to look incompetent.. I blame their pros bc it's a direct reflection of them
Ivory Welcome this I actually agree with. I have a physical disability and I remember going to a zeta interest meeting. They went on and one about how if I joined, they'd make me the Ace and make sure that I was beyond prepared to hold the line down.
Their probate costume was even horrible. Should've picked something that wasn't going to keep flailing off. The jeans weren't even the same. They should look like a line. I feel like the reveal was probably a no brainer because a simple mask doesn't do much justice.
I can't get over the ace. Sure, she's a bit rhythm-challenged. But, she was also quite obviously mumbling through information and overall looked pretty disgusted with the whole thing. Clearly didn't want to be an ace.
You cannot blame the line. You cannot blame their Dean. This is a systematic issue. Whole chapter has to take the fall for this one. Systems and safeguards (older and more experienced chapter members/alumni) must be in place to prevent this. Unfair to blame their Dean. Whole chap.
I was really spastic and dreaded my probate show way back in 199oo-oop! lols..stepping is not a requirement for any of the Great 8/Divine 9 organization. Some of us actually pledge for sisterhood/brotherhood and community...congrats ladies
This is both painful and hilarious at the same time. The best (or worse) is the call out to the Alphas😂🙁. Heck, it all was horrible. They need to do a “where are they now” video 😎
My heart goes out to them. It's painful to watch. Ironically, I saw a clip of this video on another channel. I decided I had to see the entire video for context. I'm unsure if the 1st young lady was extremely nervous or special needs. I do appreciate the fact that the audience didn't make fun of them or anything. I just feel so bad for them. 😞
This is sad. I blame everyone, First off none of them look like they took this serious. How can you be the ace and DON'T know your history. I know people who are not even in lines and know more history than the ace. No one was hype, everyone half stepping. There outfits look awful, like oh its our probate today just throw some stuff on and go. The prophytes should be ashamed to, didn't help them at no point, not even in the reveal. It just dont look like a sisterhood, looks more like a train wreck. tsk tsk .
I won't disrespect their process by saying it was paper or anything. But clearly they weren't ready to showcase themselves. I think all the actives are to blame for putting them out there.
My mom was PISSED off about what happened. She used to work at Rhodes for many years. I remember it like it was yesterday how she was almost spitting fire about SGRho humiliating her “babies” (the students). Especially when having BGLOs at Rhodes was a HUGE deal at that time. Whew! She was fuming and almost cussed. 😩 All they had to do was tell her how much they needed for it to be right and she would have been on it.
@@mrjackson1906 Short answer: lack of time invested into preparing the line. 🤷🏾♀️ Even though there was a large # of SGRHO members in Memphis who SHOULD have been an asset to ensure their success, they didn’t assist.
I am so upset..... FIrst of all who ever the DEAN is needs to get her life, because oblivious she did not show these women how to represent. This is sad and I am upset they look like they only practiced all of the information for 2 days literally
You've got to give them credit for trying... I've been a pledge class all my own, and being that small is tough to do much of anything. The ace and the tail should've been reversed, though. That tail was into it and knew her stuff better than the rest.
I am happy for these ladies. I love watching these Probate lines. It appears it is hard for some of the shorter lines at times. I wish 4 them the best life has to offer. End the end they are full time students. Blessings.
Wowwww...Worst probate ever? Possibly. When I pledged my sorority , (no not SGR), there would have been no way my big sisters would have let us go on being THAT unprepared....wow.
So harsh, people talking about snatching their letters and everything. The probate is a show , which they don’t have to have. Yes, they should’ve had a dinner or something. But, let’s just hope they’re doing the “greater service” they speak of.
To be honest, the ACE is what made this probate HORRIBLE. The other three girls did not do bad AT ALL! They actually did a great job. The ace looks miserable! Was she like this during practice? WTH. Where are these girls today?
This must be the result of a weekend intake process. They either didnt pledge or only pledged a couple weeks. weren't ready at all. if you have pledged for real the info is engrained in yo head like blood in yo vains.
It looks like they took the comment down, but there was a comment years ago claiming that everybody but the tail had "issues". One of them supposedly had mental/physical issues due to a car accident, she was awake mentally, but it just took awhile for her body to catch up. Not sure what happened to the comment, but you can literally see that the tail was the only one on point(kinda).
I love my Sisters in SGRho but they know better than to have these girls out here like this. They should have had a punch reception because this is an embarrassment. I would love to know who are their Prophytes were.
Sooooo you just gonna say my frat was founded on December 3rd like it's ok. No my dear its December 4, 1906. Please get your facts straight. So y'all just studying wrong stuff. On another note this was kind of painful to watch. BUT.....let's look at the positive. The greek community there supported them, wrong dates aside. These ladies came out and did their best. I dont think they were fully prepared by their dean/big sisters for the task however they put their best foot forward. Although number 1 clearly wasn't up to par her line sisters all stuck together. Personally I would not have let them come out like that.
Noooo Nooo They Wasn't Ready (Kevin Hart Voice)! But on a serious note: Much respect for the other girls for sticking in with the Ace(that's sisterhood for you) and the crowd for being respectful and cheering them on. S/O to the Deuce, Tre & Quad! This did not have to be this embarrassing! Old Heads its all your fault! S/O to all the Greeks!! ZzzzzzzPhi!!!!!!!
LMFAO, OMG @ 5:33 why is the quad throwing up the duce's instead of the SGRho sign, then when they got introduced sounded like the Duce Ooped, I know this was a long time ago, but this was awful. Yep I still Greeklove for all my fellow Greek's, but wow this should have never taken place.
y3ll0ch0c0lat3 she has a disability. Probably a learning one or physical one. Can't fault her she did her best. I just saw a video of a new Kappa line and their Ace uses a wheelchair and has Cerebral Palsy...like me. If I ever seek membership I'll probably be the Ace, in my wheelchair and all. I don't have a learning disability but I can only hope that I hold my line down much better 💙
I blame there DP as a woman is OES they should of made sure these beautiful ladies had the most outstanding show as they also had but beautiful ladies you are still loved and supported
