Thank you for this video Kalle. What do you do if you overtighten the rotor bearing - how can you loosen in again?

If the bearing is overtight, than de ballbearings (most likely) have made an impression on the inside of the metal. I would replace the full bearing. Better safe than sorry.

Hi Kall.here is my theory on the self removed screw. I agree this is the symptom. It require vibrations To unscrew the screw. I think the provenance come from the loose rotor probabl banging on the cover

I tried this with Seiko 7005 rotor and there was no movement possible in the bearing. I am wondering if the construction is different for Seiko.

I'm sry I forget what you called the tool you used to tighten up the bearing on the automatic rotor but have you ever used any of the Chinese made tools and would you recommend them for a hobby watchmaker such as myself that'll only be doing services on my own watches?I always like to buy the best tools I can but in some cases I just can't afford some of the high-end professional tools made for watchmaking and ill probably hardly ever use most of them but would be nice to have them and know how to use them if I would ever have this problem or have to adjust a jewel for endshake and whatnot. As always, great video and greatly appreciate how much you go into detail.extremely informative.

I love the information and knowledge you conway in your videos. Thank you! However, the editing and sound is terribel! The too loud music in the beginning and the picture-in-picture is really bad. Pity!!

This tool normally it's too expensive. You can try the Chinese model?? Maybe isn't the same but for empty not bad.

It's the result that counts, not the brand of the tool :o)

Wish I woulda saw your comment before I just left one asking about the Chinese made tools.I just asked about the Chinese made tools considering they're a fraction of the price and can't afford to buy the professional tooling for a lot of stuff pertaining to watchmaking.lol
