These "temper tantrums" aren't what you think they are, these are not little humans they do not have the choice of when this happens. It is actually when their fight or flight response is activated or triggered by something, its a chemical thing that happens causing them to spazz out like this, that can be activated by them purely just feeling threatened or scared, or when they feel like something they really need just to survive is compromised 😅 that's why you mainly see this happening when their unable to cling to mother (which is a huge thing because when their this tiny and young clinging is survival, not clinging means their easy targets and they panic) their food or milk is restricted or messed with (for instance during weaning- that's a learning curve for these babies to learn that their not going to be properly starved to death, that they just need to be moved onto more solid food, they accept it when they realise that) or when they feel in danger or threatened. Very fascinating to actually understand what is going on I think 😅

Stump tail macaques are born with a tiny tail. The tail gradually gets smaller and when the monkey is full grown the tail is almost gone. I saw a video about stump tail macaques. Bibi is a stump tail macaque.

I'm pretty sure if this is the same Maya that has a sister ( not a real one) another stump tail with a weird name then her screaming being furious is normal its all she did when she wasn't allowed to take her sisters bottle she had a meltdown the owner ended up giving it to her and that's when she got spoiled AF the owner would give her all the yogurt in front of her much smaller sister as soon as the owner would give a spoon full to the other one she would pull the spoon and the owner would then give it to her oh I can't stand that brat and I know it'd the owners fault but for her to steal what she saw the other eating just drove me insane
